Singer/Songwriter Kwame Binea joins the show tonight to share his new EP "Shakedown." We couldn't wait for a Friday Night Dance Party to get Kwame on the program - his music is too important to not share tonight!
"Kwame Binea Shakedown" features four tracks including the group's first single "Let Go" (released in early April), their most recent single, "Hang On" (released in mid-June) and "Little Lady" and "Waiting," which have never been released. Musically, the EP showcases Binea's "roots rock" lineage, which is a fusion of rhythmic rock n' roll, ample dosages of infectious funk, silky soul, screaming blue s and just a smidgeon of reggae and funk.

WATCHMEN ALERT: Biblical prophecy is being fulfilled in many ways through the New World Order. Hear how the NWO has been eroding the foundations of individual nations and plans to create 10 new nations just as prophesied in the Bible. Learn who the leaders are and how to pray with understanding. Hear how the anti-Christ agenda has been progressing over the last 45 years. Pray with us to tear down strongholds that lift themselves up against the knowledge of Jesus Christ, national sovereignty, freedom of speech and religion, Christian values and much more.

We have been waiting for them, and yes we now have them and that is new microphones for the studio. In this 30 minute episode, Jory will discuss his random, open thoughts that come to mind with listeners over the new mics. In addition, this will be a make up show to replace the one where startup audio failed in the last episode. Regular scheduled Saturday shows will resume after this 30 minute test run episode with Jory.
SHOW #285 - Live, Uncut & Uncensored Conversations With Musicians You Should Know"
I get to sit with Jay Sieleman, outgoing President/CEO of The Blues Foundation. The Foundation has had some growing pains during Jay's time in ofice, but he also accomplished the building of the physical Blues hall Of Fame in memphis, TN. A total success for the Foundation and those Blues Artists who have been enshrined since 1980. We will speak with Jay about his time in office and what he sees as his future.
Jay Stollman will join me. Jay's vocals are a dynamic fusion of Blue Eyed Soul and Rock and Roll. Along with great performance ability and stage presence, a Jay Stollman show is always guaranteed to rock the house. Jay Stollman is currently appearing with The Johnny Winter Band as the front man and lead vocalist for the Johnny Winter Remembrance Shows, honoring the legendary bluesman, as well as performing with The Jay Stollman Blues Band. Jay and I will track his journey and talk about the newest album, Room For One More.

Lancaster, Pennsylvania is the sort of town of which there are many hundred all across America: post-industrial, blue collar and, on occasion, more than a little bleak. As is so often the case though, it is in these relative backwards towns that authentic, compelling creativity truly thrives - the monotony of the landscape punctuated by brilliant flares of art. FROM ASHES TO NEW are one such flare; a thoroughly modern rock band wielding both a state-of-the-art sound and an old-as-the-hills work ethic. Formed barely two years ago by vocalist, programmer and creative mastermind Matt Brandyberry, the sextet consists of the cream of Lancaster’s underground scene. With the assistance of producer Grant McFarland, FATN set about molding their rap/rock hybrid into a sky-scrapingly monolithic proposition. And if recent four-track EP Downfall was a glistening opening gambit, then the forthcoming full-length album will radiate with the fire of a thousand suns. A fearsome mix of contemporary metalcore crunch and soul-searching rap, the band are already punching with a heavyweight strength that belies their so far brief career. It’s a potent approach galvanized further by the background from which the band all come from. Blessed with honesty, integrity, grit, determination and, most vitally, a genuinely devastating arsenal of gut-mangling tunes – FROM ASHES TO NEW have got all the ingredients to turn your world, and the entire scene, on its head. For more information, visit fromashestonew.com and pick up a copy of their EP Downfall featuring the hit single 'Through It All.'

After a heartbreaking NFC Championship loss, the Green Bay Packers were one of the favorites to play in Super Bowl 50. They resigned Randall Cobb, returned all offensive starters, including reigning NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers. On draft day, they added another weapon, Ty Montgomery from Stanford. Before camp, Montgomery was nothing more than a rookie on the depth chart. The wide receiver unit was solid, with Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, and DeVante Adams rounding out the top three. There were talks of Mike McCarthy possibly keeping six wide receivers, on the roster.
Jared Abbrederis was the first victim of injury, in the wide receiver unit, suffering a concussion. Then Jordy Nelson tore his ACL, and now Randall Cobb injured his shoulder. Nelson is out for the year, and Cobb's return is unknown. He suffered a minor AC joint sprain. Bigger injuries loom as Bryan Bulaga sprained his ankle, and has had a history of injuries. Micah Hyde left the game with a neck injury.
