We have reach the 50th anniversary of brother Malcolm X death. So in this broadcast we want to highlight some info surrounding his life and assassination.
Born on May 19, 1925, in Omaha, Nebraska, Malcolm X was a prominent black nationalist leader who served as a spokesman for the Nation of Islam during the 1950s and '60s. Due largely to his efforts, the Nation of Islam grew from a mere 400 members at the time he was released from prison in 1952 to 40,000 members by 1960. Articulate, passionate and a naturally gifted and inspirational orator, Malcolm X exhorted blacks to cast off the shackles of racism "by any means necessary,". Brother Malcolm X broke with the group shortly before his assassination, February 21, 1965, at the Audubon Ballroom in Manhattan, where he had been preparing to deliver a speech.
As Saturday, February 21st. will mark the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Brother/Minister/Revolutionary Malcolm X.
Yet given his magnanamous impact, it was as if this was only yesterday.
A rough and horror-filled childhood and aimless, early adulthood, set into motion his pathway to becoming a most excellent helper of the Hon. Elijah Muhammad and the NOI.
But, it was the challenges that came with such a responsibilty and in many ways, a manifestation of what we as black people in America have become after slavery, that caused the bitter and unfortunate separation from the NOI.
But being the man he was, molded in the finest steel and timbre, Malcolm remained committed to the struggle for Freedom, Justice and Equality, here in the DIaspora and abroad, in his desire to unify the Inigenous African with the African-American.
On Critical Discourse, we will examine his life and legacy, never overlooking his devotion to Al-Islam añd his global, de-colonized mind, which even today, far outshadows the host of present-day charlatans, passing as leaders, commissioned to lead our people into the morass of spiritual, moral and intellectual bondage.
For what we learn about the life and death of Omawale Malik Shabazz, helps us to appreciate our own past, present and future.
FIFTY years ago today my father, Malcolm X, was assassinated while speaking at the Audubon Ballroom in New York City. I think about him every day, but even more in the last year, with the renewed spirit of civil rights activism after the tragic events in Ferguson, Mo., on Staten Island and in countless other parts of the country. What would he have to say about it?He would also critique the activists’ rhetoric itself. I imagine he would applaud the “Hands Up” gesture for its sheer dramatic effect, but also critique it as rank capitulation that ironically accommodates the very goal of police brutality — to intimidate and immobilize black citizens, forcing them into a defenseless posture if they hope to survive. Join us today 5:30 CST as we raise the question:
50 years since the asasination of Malcolm X does his words still have relevance?
His funeral was held on February 27, 1965 at Faith Temple Church of God in New York City. "All of us sitting here tonight, men and women, black and white, can stand a little taller because a man like Malcolm X walked on our earth, lived in our midst, smiled his smile on the face of Harlem," said Ossie Davis, an actor, director, writer and social activist, in a speech delivered at the funeral
"You are not suppose to be so blind with Patriotism that you can't face reality. Wrong is wrong no matter who says it."
" Im for truth no matter who tells it, Im for justice no matter who its for or against".
The religion of the New World Order is scheduled to be Satanism, the worship of the light bearer. In the final analysis like all hegemonic religions individuals will be given a choice to either follow Satan or be tortured and killed. It will likely play out like the Spanish Inquisition where people will convert or die. In advance of this ultimatum there are ways that the Satanic elitists are transforming your culture, your religions and your way of life to be compatible with the adoption of this belief system. Topics include the 4 principles of Satanism, corruption of the old religions and the creation of new age religions to facilitate the switch to overt Satanism. The broadcast ends with the corrupting tactics of the hypersexulization of children and the ographic book and movie “50 Shades of Gray.” Paul also reads from his book Belief Magic: Decoding the Belief Matrix available in paperback and kindle.
