This is a black arts and culture site. We will be exploring the African Diaspora via the writing, performance, both musical and theatrical (film and stage), as well as the visual arts of Africans in the Diaspora and those influenced by these aesthetic forms of expression. I am interested in the political and social ramifications of art on society, specifically movements supported by these artists and their forebearers. It is my claim that the artists are the true revolutionaries, their work honest and filled with raw unedited passion. They are our true heroes. Ashay!

Insert your catchy story line right here. This game has a number of fascinating storys to go along with the game. Mike McCarthy was on the San Francisco 49ers staff when they passed up Aaron Rodgers and took Alex Smith with the first pick, in the 2005 NFL draft. Rodgers favorite team growing up was the San Francisco 49ers. He is also a California native. Colin Kaepernick is a Wisconsin native, and has never lost a game to the Packers (3-0 including playoffs). Kaepernicks' single game career highs in passing yards (412) and rushing yards (181) both came against the Packers.
Now that the story lines are out of the way, lets take a look at the keys to the game. Aaron Rodgers has been nothing short of spectacular through the first three weeks of the NFL season (67-91, 771 yards, 10 tds). The offense has taken on a different dimension with the loss of Jordy Nelson, but they have averaged 32 points per game. That is more than double the 15 points per game that the San Francisco 49ers have averaged per game. The 49ers have relied on Carlos Hyde who ranks third, in the NFL, in rushing with 262 yards.
The Packers will have to have excellent lane discipline to contain Kaepernick, and should try to keep him in the pocket. When he breaks the pocket, he can be dangerous with his arm and legs. If the Packers can win at the point of attack, like they did against Seattle and Kansas City, they could make it long day for the 49ers. Rodgers will have to continue using all of his weapons. The short passing game and run after the catch have equated to three victories. The 49ers defense gives up 31 points per game and are allowing 284 passing yards per game. On paper, this is a huge advantage for Rodgers and the Packers offense. To maintain the momentum, the Packers will have to protect the ball and keep the penalties to a minimum. Listen in to the show to hear who Evan and Troy pick to win the game.

Toronto, Ontario – It’s a sobering thought, the idea that we don’t have agency over our own lives, but with THE BODY CODE we can tap into our subconscious mind. THE BODY CODE knows exactly what needs to be released in order for us to achieve total wellness and our true potential.
“We need to lose what needs to be lost to find what needs to be found,” says Carmen der Kinderen.
Carmen is a certified EMOTION CODE and BODY CODE Practitioner and the founder of RELEASE TO HEAL, where she works with clients from all over the world, removing imbalances and subconscious blocks that prevent us from achieving the optimum health, happiness and the success we all deserve.
‘I’ve experienced many different healing techniques over the years with varying degrees of success," says Carmen. "They all have their gifts, but nothing compares to THE BODY CODE.”
THE BODY CODE is a state-of-the-art healing technique developed over several years by Dr. Bradley Nelson. Using muscle testing, Carmen can get to the core of what is causing our diseases. Unlike Western Medicine, which focuses on suppressing symptoms, THE BODY CODE identifies the underlying cause of our symptoms and issues and releases it.
THE BODY CODE has helped thousands of people create a profound shift in their emotional and physical wellbeing and can become your new reality.
“I think energy medicine is our future and we are well on our way,” says Carmen. “I’ve always had a huge passion for healing and wellness, so it’s been amazing helping others to become pain free, to let go of the issues that plague their lives, to lighten their hearts and manifest the life we are all meant to live!”

"To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best day and night to make you like everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight and NEVER stop fighting." E. E. Cummings (1894-1962)
This battle continues still today, the most difficult decision you may ever make in your lifetime will be the decision to know your Truth at the risk of standing alone. To achieve this Truth, life will ask you to step back from all that you believe and to observe and listen. It is through observation and listening your Truth will begin to reveal itself to you. This is the time of decision. Will you believe your Truth or do you return to the illusion of other's beliefs?
Tragedy, trauma, loss, death and a multitude of other life challenges are opportunities for you to seperate from what is familiar, what is safe, routine and comfortable. A routine life is a lethargic life, similar to living life on life support. Someone or something is providing for you, no effort on your part, no struggle,
You embark on a quest for Truth, prepare for a battle. A battle within yourself, with loved ones, your perceptions, your preconceived ideas, and your belief systems. This is a battle of epic porportion.
Truth is not for the meek, the squimish. Many who have shared their journey to Truth as one of "going down the rabbit hole".
There is great peace to be found but there is also a great cost. "There is no going back."

She had more than just her mission…
Sy’s rotation on land as a dolphin shifter couldn’t have come at a better time. With her best friend missing and no answers forthcoming, it was time to take matters into her own hands. Except …something sinister is going on inside SBW, something deadly, and Sy finds herself at the center of danger.
The last thing he needed was bullets and bombs…
Noah Nelson spent every minute trying to forget the war while fighting his PTSD, but jumping in front of a bullet was second nature. Cocoa Beach, FL – After 30 successful years in real estate, Cathy Larson experienced a career epiphany when she received a clear message from God.
“He said, ‘I want you to be a healer for the next 20 years,’” recalls Cathy. “I said, ‘Really?’ I’ve been in sales all my adult life but Healing? I know nothing about Healing!”
Shortly after this experience, Cathy spoke with a friend who worked with Dr. Bradley Nelson, creator of The Emotion Code.
“I read The Emotion Code from midnight to four in the morning,” recalls Cathy. “I couldn’t put it down."
According to The Emotion Code, most adults carry around over 300 trapped emotions in our body. We call this emotional baggage. When you experience an emotion like fear or anger, it can implant itself in you like a little ball of energy. When this happens, the energy of these emotions becomes trapped.
Our bodies have the capacity to heal themselves. However when there is block like trapped emotions our bodies do not function as they were designed to. You become sick, sleepless, stressed, angry, have loss of memory. This can contribute to diseases like cancer, autism and addiction.
Cathy says releasing these emotions is like rebooting a computer. Once you release those trapped emotions you’re removing the symptoms that cause the disease. With The Emotion Code, Cathy says you can live the life you deserve and make a difference to your family and friends. They deserve the best of you, and you deserve to be well from the inside out.
"You can’t put a price on your good health, feeling wonderful and having a life again," says Cathy. “To do this healing is a real blessing. That’s why I’ve named my practice “Double Blessing - Healing and Growth.” When we heal someone, it is a blessing to them and a blessing to us.”
