    The Golden Rule (#6)

    in Self Help

Every major religion / belief system across our planet has some form of "The Golden Rule." Whether it is Christianity's "love your neighbour as you love yourself", or Taoism's "to those who are good to me I will be good to you", many of us have been brought up to recite and believe some form of The Golden Rule.

In tonight's episode we will look at the origin of The Golden Rule, along with similarities / comparisons within several religions / belief systems.

    The Power of God’s Love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    in Radio

Filled with His love, we can endure pain, quell fear, forgive freely, avoid contention, renew strength, and bless and help others.

God’s love fills the immensity of space; therefore, there is no shortage of love in the universe, only in our willingness to do what is needed to feel it. To do this, Jesus explained we must “love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, … soul, … strength, and … mind; and thy neighbour as thyself” (Luke 10:27).

The more we obey God, the more we desire to help others. The more we help others, the more we love God and on and on. Conversely, the more we disobey God and the more selfish we are, the less love we feel.

Pastor JIm Nuzum-Special Guest Sister Sandy Seckman: The Importance of Prayer

    in Christianity

    Matthew 6:9-13 (KJV)
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

    Matthew 22:37-40 (KJV)
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Who Are You When You Have Nothing?

    in Self Help

    Who am I?

When the big existential question presents itself, the first thing a lot of us do is look for anwers in our past.

Maybe if we trace our genealogy, unveil past lives, or figure out why the people in our lives behaved the way they did we will finally know who we are.

Maybe if we prove them wrong, become better than our neighbour, achieve success and abundance we will...

"There is none good, no not one ... ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:10, 23

"Whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."  (James 2:10) We have all broken God's laws and are fully guilty before the Judge of our eternal souls. All we can do to be forgiven and saved is to repent by falling upon His mercy poured out in and through Jesus Christ.

"And God spake all these words, saying,

2... 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

    5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

    6 ...

7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

    13 Thou shalt not kill.

14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.

    15 Thou shalt not steal.

16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

    17 Thou shalt not covet

A PEOPLE of ONE PRAYER!  This is what the MOST HIGH indeed shall DELIGHT IN!    To be HONEST, WE should know.  Until WE are a PEOPLE of ONE PRAYER, WE are NOT SAVED!   Blessed is the day that a PEOPLE shall PRAY as ONE with an UNSELFISH HEART, "Let ALL the UNRIGHTEOUSNESSES of the ALL the NATIONS be SUBDUED!"

Mark 12:29  Yeoshu answered him, The utmost of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our Most High is ONE Lord:  30  And thou shalt love the Lord thy Holy One with ALL thy heart, and with ALL thy soul, and with ALL thy mind, and with ALL thy strength: this is the utmost commandment.  31  And the second is likewise, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Zep 3:13  The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

Psa 2:1  Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?  2  The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against YAH, and against HIS anointed, saying.   3  Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. 4  HE that sits in the heaven shall laugh: YAH shall have them in derision.  5  Then shall HE speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in HIS sore displeasure.  6  Yet have I set MY king upon MY holy hill of Zion. 7  I will declare the decree!   YAH has said unto Me, Thou art MY Son; this day have I begotten Thee.  8  Ask of ME, and I shall give thee the heathen for Thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for Thy possession.

    (John 14:6-<14-17>-27 .. Job 22:21-28) (Isaiah ch.23-32)

    Luke 10:30-37 (KJV)
30  And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
31  And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32  And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.
33  But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
34  And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35  And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
36  Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
37  And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

Short program announcements, scheduled slots etc.

1st HOUR: Thom Hartmann's "The Big Picture" makes a year-end 2015 review and summarizes the rise of Sen. Bernie Sanders, Fed tinkering with the economy, the North Pole heat wave and more.  Courtesy RT available over the air at the Topeka PBS-affiliate KTWU 11.2 everyday.

2nd HOUR: This is the last Intelligent Aboriginal Radyo (APNSPR) internet radio broadcast for the Gregorian calendar year of 2015 and features TheAngryindian and Guadalupe Morales wrapping up the sum-total of blatant injustice in North America w/ the case of a Native American woman being denied protection and due process of law by the Lawton PD from a local street gang she alleges brutally assaulted her in her home. (Special thanks goes out to Native American activist Johnnie Jae / @JohnnieJae for making me aware of this story) Besides the local PD refusing to report or investigate her attack, the local hospital (Comanche Memorial) like the police, refused to utilise a (standard) rape-kit, take photographs of her physical injuries or in any way fully document the event as a medical emergency. Further discourse looks at the public testimony of Antonio LeGrier on the US news programme CNN speaking on the police murder of his son Quintonio LeGrier and his neighbour, community activist Bettie Jones and why his grief should be a wake up call to the American African community to begin analysing institutional xenophobia from an international perspective.
