On this week's edition of HealthCare Consumerism Radio, hosts Ron Bachman and Doug Field are live in the studio for a discussion on trends in population health management and how changes toward a consumer-centric health care model are affecting all stakeholders in the system.
For the first segment on today's program, the hosts welcome Jack Curtis, founder and chief executive officer of Corporate Health Partners, to the show. A speaker at this June's FORUM & Expo, the chair of the Leadership Committee at HERO and an overall thought leader in health management, Jack discusses some of the latest trends in corporate wellness today. Jack and the hosts also cover the content of this June's FORUM & Expo general session, recent HERO research and how to engage the C-suite in corporate wellness efforts.
The second guest on this week's show is Robin Hooker, the director of healthcare marketing for UPS, a global leader in logistics. In this segment, Robin and the hosts discuss how the shift toward patient-centric care is affecting all participants in the health care system. Today, patients are choosing more direct-to-home deliveries; walk-in clinics, such as CVS Minute Clinic and MedPost Urgent Care, are on the rise; the middle class and aging populations in emerging markets are growing. These are impacting the health care supply chain immensely. With health care consumerism on the rise globally, logistics partners are required to innovate now more than ever to ensure a safe end-to-end shipping experience for biologics, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and more.

The evolution of food flavoring began during the industrial revolution. Meat and vegetables became available from distant lands. Foods were processed and preserved to lengthen shelf life. For the first time in history, foods were no longer going directly from the field to the plate. Freshness became an issue and the need to recreate flavors that had been lost by preserving and processing was born... and so started the addition of chemicals into our food.
But, along with that also came the perversion of our food supply SO profound that it can be linked, directly and/or indirectly, to a majority of the health concerns we face today.
In this episode, Dr. Budweiser founder of Weiser Living will cover the following:
How Flavorings entered Our Food Supply
What Is A Food Flavoring & How Is It Made?
The Trademark Secrets That Keep Us In The Dark
Artificial vs Natural Flavorings
Excitotoxins - What Are They & Their Serious Side Effects You Should Consider
Do You Eat Beaver Butt???
What Effect Do All These Flavorings Have On Our Health?
How Do You Avoid Flavorings
... and so much more!
So be sure to tune in to a very flavorful time with Dr. Budweiser and his golden wisdom!

Emotions control your thinking, behavior and actions. Your body normally responds to the way you think, feel and act. And this is due to the Mind Body and Soul Connection..
Emotions affect your physical bodies as much as your body affects your feelings and thinking.
Emotions that are freely experienced and expressed without judgment or attachment tend to flow fluidly.
But on the other hand people who ignore, dismiss, repress or just ventilate their emotions, are setting themselves up for physical illness.
Emotions that are not felt and released but buried within the body or in the aura can cause serious illness, including cancer, arthritis, and many types of chronic illnesses.
Negative emotions such as fear, anxiety, negativity, frustration and depression cause chemical reactions in your body that are very different from the chemicals released when you feel positive emotions such as happy, content, loved, accepted.
For those who maintain that our physical symptoms are completely unrelated to the content in our hearts and souls, consider “broken heart syndrome,” the sudden heart failure that is brought on by emotional trauma. Different from a heart attack, broken heart syndrome is caused by a flood of hormones that impedes the ability of the heart muscle to pump.
join me Janice Clarke, Holistic Health Practitioner, Master Herbalist, Nutritional Consultant, Reiki Practitioner and HOST OF THE SOULFUL HEALING TALK SHOW, to discuss the different emotions and which areas of the body they affect, and how you can improve your emotional health, by learning how to express your emotions in appropriate ways.
Everybody has emotions right? SO I’m aure you don’t want to miss our ME TIME.
