SPECIAL TOPIC Night - "For Our Kids" - Deborah Maddison and Eugenea Couture, Canadian activists from British Columbia, will join Bill Murray to lead this evening's discussion about the Rights of Children and Families in North America. TONIGHT'S TOPIC: "Lost In The Void" - According to the U.S. State Department, human trafficking is one of the greatest human rights challenges of this century, both in the United States and around the world. It is a multi-billion dollar industry that affects every race, class and gender, and people are trafficked not only for sex but for labour and organ harvesting. All of our children are vulnerable, and anyone can be targeted. It is one of the biggest crimes world-wide, almost surpassing the drug trade, and often is done in plain sight or even through government agencies. The criminals aren't always the scary unknown stranger, and the victims aren't always who we see as 'vulnerable', and so even though it is right in front of us, if it doesn't touch us, we often never see it at all. Join us tonight on the "For Our Kids" talk show as we discuss this very important topic with an incredible panel of guests. ~~ Every two weeks a new THEME will be presented in this series, with frequent special guests speaking from their own experience. ~~ Please see our web page at: www.NAASCA.org/ForOurKids or write to: firstname.lastname@example.org

Is a On Da A.V.E Records Hip Hop artist, producer, and writer. Born in 1982 Eaz (Eric Ingram) was born as a twin to a family of 6 children in urban North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a child, life was hard for Eaz. Drugs, poverty, urban plight and a host of other ills could have easily transformed Eaz into a criminal or worst. He had other plans. He studied and watched as his older brother Matthias(Verna Ingram) pursue a career in Hip Hop. So he and his younger brother E.S (Anthony Ingram) began writing raps to hip hop instrumentals. With the addition of Clay Native(Clarence Crawford) they form the group "Point Blank Assassins(P.B.A.)". The mild success of their 2013 mix-tape "From Da Block 2 Da Radio vol. 1" sparked something within this Hip Hop enriched family. In 2013 Matthias released a solo album called "The Forgotten". But, the pressure of recording/ preforming and some personal issue took a toll on P.B.A. The break up came as the group was just beginning to cultivate their craft and gain fan interest.
Leaving Eaz with a dilemma...allow the brake up to end the years of work he put into Hip Hop, or advance into a solo career. Through family and friends encouragement Eaz chooses the latter. Eaz wrote and orchestrated music vigorously to achieve the gold standard of a quality Hip Hop album no one could deny.Another exclusive interview on Hot16RealTalk,podcasti
Poetic Soul first made a name for himself on Atlanta's poetry scene at the infamous Patti Hut Café. As a breeding ground for up-and-coming word artists, Patti Hut had developed a reputation for a spot for “intimate poetry”.
This is where he fine tuned his craft and skills in front of an audience of 100 plus. After joining the Atlanta based poetry troupe called Klub Kummba and getting a feel for the Atlanta open mic scene. Poetic Soul's career as a writer gained momentum, so did his work as a poet. "[My poetry] is about making things matter. Making those invisible, intangible ideas and dreams, things that you can touch, that you can feel," he said. So far he has done this in his new book of poetry " OFO ASE' (the powers of the word). . Soul acknowledged the privilege he felt at being able to share his poetry on stage and in literary form. "To be a young poet and publish books is quite a blessing, because publishers print poetry like churches sing hymns--to maintain some sort of traditional stance," he said. In the spring of 1995 his first self published book of poetry hit the streets entitled "Bullets & Blood", which was distilled from seven years of journal writing. He went on to produce six more books of poetry (1997) The River Is Overflowing With Words, (2000) Love Serenade, (2008) The Son Of A Warrior Griot, (2009) Lovin U, (2010) Ubran Griot and (2012)
