Indigenist chat-radio host TheAngryindian (@TheAngryindian) speaks with British activist KrustyAllslopp (@KrustyAllslopp) about the recent accusations of embedded Judeophobia within the UK Labour Party and how this 'scandal' relates to the political bad-jacketing of former Mayor of London Ken Livingstone by both the Tory Party and hard-right English Zionists. A long-time People's Rights and antiracism activist, KrustyAllslopp explains why she believes that this controversy appears to be more about the British right-wing winding-up anti-Labour animosity and confusion just days before the polls are set to open in upcoming elections. ... She points to the sort of media manipulation the government of PM Margaret Thatcher and Home Secretary Douglas Hurd used to discredit the people of Liverpool and their resistance during the worker's struggle of the period.

Redemptorist preacher and reformer. He was born on December 26,1751, at Taswitz, Moravia, the ninth child of a butcher and his wife and was baptized John. His family name was originally Dvorak, but was changed to the German Hofbauer. He was apprenticed as a baker in his youth, and later became a hermit near Bruck, Austria. As part of his so-called Josephinist policies, Austrian Emperor Joseph II abolished hermitages, and Clement went to Vienna, where he and a friend, Peter Kunzmann, received permission from Bishop Chiaramonti of Tivoli, Italy, to live in a hermitage. Bishop Chiaramonti later became Pope Pius VII. After studying at the university of Vienna, Austria, and in Rome, Clement and another friend, Thaddeus HubI, entered the Redemptorist Order and were ordained in 1785. They were stationed in Vienna, but Emperor Joseph II closed religious foundations, so they were sent to Courtland. Peter Kunzmann joined Clement as a lay brother, and the three were sent to St. Benno's Church in Warsaw, Poland, to begin two decades of missionary labors. Clement preached, built orphanages and schools, and established a vast Redemptorist presence in the city. Napoleon suppressed all religious institutions, and Clement and the Redemptorists were imprisoned in 1808, each one then exiled to his own native land. Clement went to Vienna, where he became the chaplain of the Ursulines and pastor of the adjoining parish. He became known for his holiness and zeal. Clement died in Vienna on March 15. He was canonized in 1909.

The Beating Drum is a premier Native American radio show that is preserving and restoring positive Native imagery in sports and American mainstream.
We hear about how competition could improve education, and how bloated government school systems stifle innovation, and corrupt teachers unions enshrine mediocre performance.
In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the only choice was private charter schools for most of New Orleans. 90% of kids are in these schools today, but plans are for the government to reclaim dominion over the chidren.
Many amazing educators came to NOLA for the opportunity to innovate, and tonight we talk to one of them. His success is amazing and proof that it is not about money, but about finding the right people for the right kids. This man has lead a fascinating life, a path that took him from military intelligence to archaeology, to orphanages in India, and eventually to schools inside youth correctional intitutions.
He has had tremendous success in the worst schools with 20% of his students homeless, and many enrolling with arrest records. His approach and proven results showcase the enormous strength of heathenryand the meritocratic, libertarian ideal. Hear about real education reform, in real talk language.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Truth for a lot of reasons--educational racism, corrupt politicians, and superiority of a group of people--the majority over minorities.
From Jim Crow laws and Brown v. Board of Education--into the 21st Century--with all the laws and policy changes regarding equality for all--there is yet to be found equality for any --who were born into situations in which they have no control.
In Michigan, Republican lawmakers have proven once again that racism is alive and well with their passage of a bill that on the surface, appears to be aid, but in actuality is the final step in demolishing a school district simply because the students are poor and minority and cannot fight back.
They have deliberately ignored the need and promoted the greed of corrupt and inexcusable behavior by those in control who have caused more damage to the educational system than any one group of people ever could and yet blame the one group--the teachers who fight for the kids--for all the ills of education in Detroit. Will there ever be a political party in control who cares about all children and their education?
