James ‘Flaming Eagle’ Mooney is an American Native Black Seminole, and a bloodline descendant of Seminole Medicine Man and War Chief Osceola and his escaped African American slave wife. James is also the namesake and bloodline descendant of one James Mooney, Irish-Scottish son of Irish Catholic immigrants, and American born U.S. Citizen. James Mooney was employed as an Ethnologist at the Smithsonian Institute, Washington D.C. Here is an account of three men doing everything in their power to assist the indigenous peoples and their ancient ceremonies of North America to survive the onslaught of atrocities perpetrated by misguided United States government agencies for more than 200 years.
War Chief Osceola was an influential Seminole leader who fought the United States to a standstill in the Florida Everglades, during the second Seminole War, also known as the Florida War of 1835. James’s ancestral family fought the U.S. military in an attempt to stop the expulsion of our First Nations people from their ancestral homeland and bringing about the deliberate annihilation of our indigenous culture.
In 1918, James’s forefather James Mooney fought a war of words before Congress, successfully halting the passage of a Peyote law that was designed to make illegal the entire American Native way of life. Pointedly, the dominant Christian religious mainstream sought to end our earth-based ceremonies and healing and empowerment rites, supplanting these traditions with those imported from across the seas. Of late, this codified denial of our constitutionally guaranteed religious freedom was promoted and enforced by a federal agency known as the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA). James’s great grandfather’s successful defense of our sacrament before Congress was a first step in a long journey to restore and maintain our ancient heritage.

Month Of Resistance
The October Month of Resistance to Mass Incarceration, Police Terror, Repression and the Criminalization of a Generation must be like a giant STOP sign stuck right in the face of American society, day after day, so that it can't be covered up, whited out, ignored, neutralized or suppressed.

Today, more than one out of every 100 Americans is behind bars, and the US has the largest prison population in the world, both in terms of the actual number of inmates and as a percentage of the total population. The numbers are staggering: the US incarceration rate is nearly 3.5 times higher than that of Mexico, a country that has spent the last decade in the throes of an actual drug war, and between five and ten times higher than those seen in Western Europe. There are more people locked up in the US than in China. In fact, the US is home to nearly a quarter of the world's prisoners, despite accounting for just 5 percent of the overall global population.
The US should ask God forgiveness for trespasses of genocide, unprecedented mass incarceration, police brutality, and colonial enslavement. The United States of America has an enormous mass incarceration problem. More than 2-4-million prisoners are locked up in federal penitentiaries, state corrections facilities, and jailhouses. Incarceration in the US is nearly 3.5 times higher than that of Mexico. In fact, there are more people locked up in the US than in China. America has the largest prison population in the world and one out of every 100 Americans is locked up behind bars.
What is False imprisonment? It is the unlawful restraint of a person against her will by someone without legal authority or justification. Fact: Innocent people are wrongly accused & falsely incarcerated in this country sometimes for decades because of police & prosecutorial misconduct. What is a Wrongful Death? A wrongful death is a claim that exists when a person dies due to the legal fault of another person, police ect. Can Law Enforcement Officers be held liable for death they commit against unarmed victims?
What is Due Process? The government may not deprive citizens of “life, liberty, or property” without due process of law. This means the government has to follow rules and cannot deny the accused of: hearings, trials, medical treatment nor their right to freedom.

One People Tribal Nation
A nation is a culture that people create, so they can have a group to which they can belong.
We, members of One People Tribal Nation, offer a united home for all humanity, a new tribe for all people. We pledge to honor, offer our graditute for and protect our planet. We honor the diversity of all life, all cultures and orientations, sharing teachings, ceremonies and sacred ways. A special welcome is set out for the youth, for they are our future and we are in service to them. Recognizing that rights bring responsiblities with them, we do our best to foster right relationship with our Earth Mother and all who share this planet with us.
People have to start living in harmony with the planet they are inhabiting or pay the price for listening to their own inner dialog instead of being sensitive to Mother Earth's needs. We understand the difficulty modern people will have moving to a sustainable way of life, we will all miss many of the conveniences that we have today, but we should be more disturbed that we are robbing the future generations of a decent life. The way to a decent future for our grand children is based on growth of spirit and respect for the environment. A new way of measuring human progress, one that does not include material accumulations is what we must embrace. Let us have the courage to embrace it.
If you want to be a part of this, --- help us physically, spiritually monetarily or any way you can. It will require cooperation, some help, and lots of energy.
