Would it surprise you to hear that there are similarities between EFT and native medicine?
Join Annabel Fisher as she speaks with Brenda Holder about Native Medicine and how it relates to EFT. Native Medicine uses energy in many healing ceremonies, including actually using the earth to move stuck energy and emotions.
Brenda will also share how EFT fits into her other business: guiding clients on a hiking, snow shoeing or cave trip, and survival programs (in which Brenda goes into the psychology of a survival situation and fight, flight or freeze).
About Brenda: Brenda Holder is a Métis (mixed Native blood) Healer and Hiking Guide from Canmore, Alberta. As a Native person, Brenda grew up with plant medicine and native healings, and EFT was a natural fit for her with the teachings from her Grandmother and Mother. As a plant person and gifted native healer, Brenda instantly understood the similarities in the energetics between EFT and Native Medicine .
Tapping has become a mainstay of Brenda’s healing modality, as well as for her work in the outdoors!

Los Angeles - Straight outta' South Central Los Angeles, Havoc Da MouthPiecehails as one the true originators of West Coast gangsta' hip hop! Real hip hop hard heads recall Havoc as a standout pioneer, spearheading the West Coast reign when he was the front man for the rap crew South Central Cartel aka SCC. The group were the first 'left' coast rappers to sign to Def Jam and nurtured a loyal cult following with hits like "U Gotta Deal Wit Dis," "Pops Was a Rolla," All Day Everyday," "Eastside-Westside" and "It's an S.C.C Thang."Ironically, Havoc, a Chicago native, also has roots nestled deep in the legacy of R&B as well. Havoc is not only a rap legend, but he is also the son of legend. His father, Robert "Squirrel" Lester was one of the founding members of the legendary soul group the Chi-Lites.
Tonight and the rest of this week we are going to discuss Cleavers NOTES ON NATIVE SON. In this we will discuss the theory of self hate and displaced love for those who are your enemy and enemy to the thought of a life of liberation for Black People. "After reading a couple of James Baldwin's books, I began experiencing that continuous delight one feels upon discovering a fascinating, brilliant talent on the scene, a talent capable of penetrating so profoundly into one's own little world that one knows oneself to have unalterably changed and liberated from the frustrating grasp of whatever Devils happen to process one. Being a Negro, I have found this to be a rare and infrequent experience, for few of my black brothers and sisters her in America have achieved the power, which James Baldwin calls his revenge, which outlast kingdoms: the power of doing whatever cats like Baldwin do when combining the alphabet with the with the volatile elements of his soul. (And, like it or not, a black man, unless he has become irretrievably "white-minded, " responds with additional dimension of his being to the articulated experience of another black---in spite of the universality of human experience.)
I as I imagine many others did and still do, lusted for any-thing that Baldwin had written. It would have been a gas for me to sit on a pillow beneath the womb of Baldwin's typewriter and catch each newborn page as it entered this world of ours. I was delighted that Baldwin, with those great big eyes of his, which one thought to be fixedly focused on the microcosm, could also pierce the microcosm. And although he was so full of sound, he was not noisy writer like Ralph Ellison. He placed so much of my own experience, which I thought I had understood, into new perspective." Starting with the Pilgrims not only leaves out the Indians, but also the Spanish. In the summer of 1526 five hundred Spaniards and one hundred black slaves founded a town near the mouth of the Pedee River in what is now South Carolina. Disease and disputes with nearby Indians caused many deaths. Finally, in November the slaves rebelled, killed some of their masters, and escaped to the Indians. By now only 150 Spaniards survived, and they evacuated back to Haiti. The ex-slaves remained behind. So the first non-Native settlers in "the country we now know as the United States" were Africans. The Spanish continued their settling in 1565, when they massacred a settlement of French Protestants at St. Augustine, Florida, and replaced it with their own fort. Some Spanish were pilgrims, seeking regions new to them to secure religious liberty: these were Spanish Jews
Beginning with 1620 also omits the Dutch, who were living in what is now Albany by 1614. Indeed, 1620 is not even the date of the first permanent British settlement, for in 1607, the London Company sent settlers to Jamestown, Virginia. No matter. The mythic origin of "the country we now know as the United States"

NYC Amazing Holistic Health Expo is working on starting a movement to reawaken people to natural
medicine that is not as dangerous to the human body. Not only the physical remedy but also looking at
the spiritual & mental aspect of healing the individual and the community we live in and the world
community as well. It may sound like a huge task but we really don’t know the spiritual ability that we
are capable of achieving. Once we tap into the God Given Ability that lies dormant within us then we can
truly bring about true change.
Join host Petula Beckles as she talks with special guest Benyamin Bridges about the Holistic Expo and how to take care of our bodies.
