Many people are outraged at the decision of the International Little League organization to strip Jackie Robinson West of its National Championship title based on allegations that the team violated rules related to the boundaries in which team members should live. This decision came at the incessant urging of Chris Janes, Vice President of the Evergreen Park Athletic Association, who charged that a JRW team member lived in a suburb of Chicago and was not an inner city resident. Chris Janes is Coach of the Evergreen Park Little League Team, which suffered a humiliating loss of 43-2 against JRW during the Sectional Playoffs, and of course JRW went on to compete for and win the National Championship. So, are we seeing, according to Chris Janes' accusation, a team that deliberately schemed, lied and cheated to get to the top? Or are we seeing, according to JRW supporters, an immature adult who is lacking in good sportsmanship and is unable to graciously accept defeat? Is the Jackie Robinson West team being robbed of its rightfully earned National Little League Championship Title? Will this case end up in court? What do you think should happen?

It's an odd numbered year, but does that immediately take the San Francisco Giants out of the discussion to win the World Series? The Major League Baseball season is set to begin and with it there are 14 teams in the National League that are set to attempt to dethrone the Giants. Will the front office changes for the Los Angeles Dodgers lead to their first World Series Championship since 1988? Are the Chicago Cubs for real? I'll discuss this and more on the 300lbsofsportsknowledge Show.
The quarterback situation for the Mountain West schools is up in the air for nearly every school. So far during spring practices and only a few of the jobs have been settled with the most being decided in fall camp. Jeremy and Chris are back to discuss these quarterback battles and other spring musings.
Is it quite possible that New Mexico has the best quarterback situation, at least with returning talent and experience. Utah State has an argument for that as well but that only matters if Chuckie Keeton can stay healthy and that is not likely going off of his history. Maybe it is Air Force who has Nate Romine under center and while he didn't start last year, he did see time in nine games in 2013.
As of now Boise State, San Diego State, San Jose State, UNLV (but they are close), Hawaii, Wyoming, Colorado State and Fresno State have not officially announced who their starting quarterback will be.
Quarterback play will be a key issue in deciding the Mountain West next year, which is an obvious statement but this year it is important due to the amount of turnover.

Tonight Social Security abuses in Puerto Rico and yes, by our own COngress. Amazing. Also, was our constitution based on the Iroquois Indian constitution? More on Iceland, Monsanto, and will water be the next valuable commodity? Always an interesting perspective on everyday issues.

Beverly Cox site manager for the Black Loyalist Heritage Society was living in Shelburne and raising her first daughter. One day, some community members approached her about the importance of Birchtown and keeping their history alive. Thus began an over-20-year relationship with the BLHS. Cox has many roles as Site Manager. She runs the site, hires summer staff and interpretive guides, makes sure the location is in impeccable shape, and ensures that visitors thoroughly enjoy their experience. Cox is also involved in fundraising for the interpretive centre and is the centre’s project manager. Of all of her roles, she loves the ones that let her interact with people the most. “I really enjoy meeting new people … So that’s my favourite part – giving our tour and partnering with other organizations to highlight our African Nova Scotian history.”
