Diamond welcomes colleagues, Roberta Levitow (Co-founder and Director of Theatre Without Borders) and Frank Hentschker (Executive Director of The Segal Center) to discuss issues of Artists Working Internationally. At the imminent launch of the Cultural Mobility Funding Guide for the U.S., we will discuss resources, challenges and strategies for artists who wish to travel to other countries to work in the theatre, do residencies, study and present work.


    The colleagues, along with Marie Le Sourd of On the Move and others, have created the first Funding Guide of this kind in the United States. On January 7th, they present a full-day Symposium at the Segal Center in New York City to launch the Guide and grapple with the challenges faced by artists working internationally. With over 250 artists, administrators, funders and supporters from around the world, they will discuss issues ranging from visa and legal issues to arts-human rights work.

    Rev. Abigail Schairer, is a dynamic speaker and talented teacher. She is known for her practical advice and her study of spiritual masters from all the great religions.
