The massive success of “Whiskey & Wine Vol. 1” kept the band on the road for the most part of 2014. The first single “That Was The Whiskey”, co-written with Nashville songwriter Lori McKenna (Faith Hill, Little Big Town, Hunter Hayes), premiered on CMT trending in the Top 10 and was nominated in the "Country Song" category at The 13th Annual Independent Music Awards. When the New York based, alt-country female rockers do something, they do it big. Catapulted into the national spotlight in 2005 with a groundbreaking major label debut that landed them in the top 20 of the Billboard Heatseekers chart for an entire year.
Best known for relentless touring and masterful musicianship, the band played upwards of 280 shows a year in their early days. Founding sisters Cathy and Kristen Henderson have always had the same philosophy. Play better than the boys and make sure the fans feel like part of the family. Catchy songs, has allowed this self-sustained group to maintain her independence and leave an indelible mark on an industry best known for leaving girl (bands) behind.
In a business riddled with pitfalls, the fans have been the one thing Antigone Rising count on. Their first independent fan-funded CD (2000's "Rock Album") raised ten thousand dollars via checks through snail mail before the internet ever kicked into high gear. Their fan funded effort for "23 Red" raised quadruple that number, with fan perks including bowling and kickball with the band, private house concerts, and band members making personal happy birthday phone calls. Their latest campaign through PledgeMusic reached 154% of its goal within weeks. The fans are the lifeblood of Antigone Rising and have always been the most critical part of the formula.

This problem of Xonophobia, self hatred is ingrained in us because of how we were psycologolically conditioned in the past. There are 3 categories that the Jamacain Slave holder Presented to the Virginia Plantation owners on how to deal with African People and Negro Indegenous people called Indians in the Americas. "I have outlined a number of differences among the slaves: and I take these differences an make them bigger. I use fear, distrust, and envy for control purposes. These methods have orked on my nodest plantation in the West Indies and it will work throughout the South. Take this simple little list of differences, and think abouth them. On top of my list is Age, but it is there only because it starts with an A: the second is Color or Shade, there is intelligence, size, sex size of the plantations, status on the platatntion, attitude of the owners, whether the slave lives in the vally or on a hill, east, west, north, south, have fine hair, coarse hair, or is tall or short. Now that you have a list of differences. I shall give you an outline of action-but before that I shall assure you that distrust is stronger thatn trust and envy is stronger that adulation, respect or admiration. People either have their reasons or their results. What do you have? "If it is reasons, then surely you have regrets, " says Coach Joyce Barrie.
Reasons translates into "What if?" What if I got it done? What if I won? What if I exceeded my expectations?
Results inspire you to keep going and to get more results. Results make you more confident, results contribute to self esteem. Results make you happy.

Some time after leaving the Church, Oliver Cowdery, who had studied law, became prosecuting attorney in one of the counties of the state of Michigan. During the course of a murder trial the attorney for the defendant challenged Oliver Cowdery in the following words:
"May it please the court, and gentlemen of the jury, I challenge Mr. Cowdery, since he seems to know so much about the poor defendant, to tell us something about his connection with Joe Smith, and the digging out of the hill of the Mormon Bible, and how Mr. Cowdery helped Joe Smith to defraud the American people out of a whole lot of money selling the Mormon Bible and telling them that an angel appeared to them from heaven, dressed in white clothes."
“Finally, Oliver Cowdery arose calm as a summer morning. I was within three feet of him. There was no hesitation, no fear, no anger in his voice, as he said: 'May it please the court, and gentlemen of the jury, my brother attorney on the other side has charged me with connection with Joseph Smith and the golden Bible. The responsibility has been placed upon me, and I cannot escape reply. Before God and man I dare not deny what I have said, and what my testimony contains as written and printed on the front page of the Book of Mormon. May it please your honor and gentlemen of the jury, this I say, I saw the angel and heard his voice-how can I deny it? It happened in the daytime when the sun was shining bright in the firmament; not in the night when I was asleep. That glorious messenger from heaven, dressed in white, standing above the ground, in a glory I have never seen anything to compare with, the sun insignificant in comparison, and this personage told us if we denied that testimony there is no forgiveness in this life nor in the world to come. Now, how can I deny it-I dare not; I will not!” (As related by former Juvenile Court Judge C. M. Nielsen of Murray, Utah)
