Charlotte View presents: Nicole Henderson and guest Gail Pieropan on the topic: ZenEvo Racing. Zenith Evolution Racing (ZenEvo Racing), an upstart & diverse professional “green” motorsports team preparing to participate in the 2015 NASCAR Xfinity Series
Nicole's father introduced her to the world of Nascar ever since she was a little girl. She was very young when she discovered 'by accident' that by placing her hands on the car she could "talk" to it and find out which parts needed to be fixed. A short career as a "car whisperer" started. She helped race teams find and fix car's problems. Around that time, she also discovered this ability worked with people and she decided to educate herself in the medical field.
Nicole never lost her love for race and Nascar, she has paired with Gail Pieropan with the ZenEvo Racing project to be the first truly successful “green” racing team in NASCAR; promoting energy independence, utilizing renewable technologies and sustainable practices. ZenEvo Racing will be a certified Benefit Corporation (B Corp), a new class of business entity that voluntarily meets higher standards of transparency, accountability and performance. As a B Corp, we will focus on the triple bottom line of social impact, environmental sustainability and financial stability; creating higher quality jobs and a better way to do business.
ZenEvo Racing supports a holistic, gender balanced team and opportunities for women in motorsports.

On today's episode we talk about a sad anniversary in NASCAR.
After that we'll review the STP 500 @ Martinsville Speedway. Denny Hamlin gives Toyota their first win since Talladega last season. We need more short tracks. What a fun race. We'll give our attaboy/girls and our disappointments.
Also, the big story of the week is the P5 penalty for the #31 team for Richard Childress Racing. Crew chief, Luke Lambert has been suspended for six races, and placed on probation through December 31st. Interesting take that Clayton has on this as to what RCR's next move should be; also, is it time to change the way NASCAR penalizes teams in this sport?
And our team report cards. Usually, every break in the season, we give team report cards, and today we'll give ours after the first six weeks.
Qualifying at Talladega has changed, of course, only the 457th change in qualifying. Is this the best way? Is there a better way?
Also, John Harlow from BeyondtheFlag.com will join the show to discuss multiple topics with us; and that's always a treat.
