Tonight's special guest is Cynthia Jamin from Los Angeles is a child abuse survivor and activist who helps support one of her favorite non profit efforts, www.Childhelp.org with donations through her business, www.TwirlyGirlShop.com. Cynthia shares her story with the hope that it will motivate others to reach out, help and share. As the web site states, "We donate a portion of every sale to this leading national non-profit organization dedicated to helping victims of child abuse and neglect." And it goes on, "We have a personal reason for wanting to help children. Cynthia Jamin, designer and owner of TwirlyGirl, shares her story with the hope that it will motivate others to reach out, help and share." Cynthia has quite a story. Raised as the only child of a poor single mother, she was abused by a camp councilor at an over night camp as a little girl, starting when Cynthia was seven years old. She was assaulted by him for the next six years. (There's a three minute video about Cynthia at the bottom of the TwirlyGirl "Our Story" web page.) Anxious to speak out against child abuse, Cynthia writes she's looking forward to this opportunity. "It’s great to know this radio platform is available for people. hat you are doing is fantastic for all of us - speaking and silent.
A lot of times the lines of communication between men and women are disconnected. Sometimes we just don't know how to interpret what each other are saying. Women are said to be "too emotional" and men are "too logical. That’s when the old saying women are from Venus men are from Mars comes into play. Join us Friday as we discuss "He Said, She Said". As we begin to break down the miscommunication between men and women.

SPECIAL TOPIC Night - "For Our Kids" - Deborah Maddison and Tracy Baxter, Canadian activists from British Columbia, will join Bill Murray to lead this evening's discussion about the Rights of Children and Families in North America. Tonight's TOPIC: a round table discussion with two families who will speak with us about the effects CPS abuse had on their families for three generations. We often forget the 'ripple' effect of a tragedy, and how it affects not just the people at the core, but all those around them, and often for years to come. We will be speaking with Lina Desmoulin from the Blakout Documentary 'Powerful as God', and her daughter and granddaughter, Deanna and Hillary Paul, from Ontario, whose family was destroyed from the involvement of CPS. We will also be speaking with Reverend Rosemary Dalton and her son, Michael, from Missouri, whose ongoing CPS nightmare has now spanned 17 years. "For Our Kids" show panelist Eugenea Couture, author of the incredibly influential book 'Adoption not an Option' is joining us, too. Trauma is not something that can be confined, compartmentalized, or just 'gotten over', and it is only by speaking up about these issues and demanding change that we can work preventatively from damaging generations of families. ~~ Every two weeks a new THEME will be presented in this series, with frequent special guests speaking from their own experience. ~~ Please see our web page at: www.NAASCA.org/ForOurKids or write to: firstname.lastname@example.org

It is some thing we hear about often. And it is usually considered to be a beneficial concept. Many, if not most, of us value and possibly use it as a criteria for picking their respective mates. But is this an overblown philosophy or way of thinking? Is the merit to this notion of children raised with both of their parents, and or even in healthy two parent homes, are make for more healthy mates in adult relationships?
Do people raised in single parent homes have unrealistic expectations of how their mate(s) and relationships are suppose to be? Do they have a lack of patience when their respective expectations are not lived up to? Are you able to tell if a person (specifically a woman) was raised without their father immediately? Does the lack of seeing both parents living together create serious incompatibility issues in those of us who did not have the luxury?

Mud Toe Sasquatch has been a researcher, a materials scientist, a product developer, a quality assurance manager, a schoolteacher, a house painter, a salesman, and amateur actor and director, and a videographer. No matter what avocation he tried, Mud Toe found himself plagued by a persistent sense of spiritual emptiness and an inescapable feeling that human society was fundamentally flawed. He has struggled with substance abuse and self-destructive behavior since he was a teenager.
Four years ago, Mud Toe embarked on a spiritual journey working the Twelve Steps of recovery. Today, he is a PhD student at a well known Major University in the Midwest. He has also accepted a call to become a Healer of Society in the Nemenhah Native American tradition, which he has joined through spiritual adoption. He writes and speaks about his experiences in addiction and recovery, and publishes his words so they might reach those who need them. He maintains a Facebook page of his writings, and now will be sharing his thoughts on a weekly radio program on Withinsights radio called "Mud Toe at Midnight."
Mud Toe is not your average, everyday shaman. For him, it's not all "Love and Light." He is not afraid to access and embrace the darker elements of his experience. His intention is to be fully honest with his readers and his audience. He paints vivid pictures, and they're not always pretty.
Join Mud Toe every Friday at Midnight for a different kind of spiritual program.

We've decided to take a look back through films of the past as a way of reminiscing and discussing movies that were popular "way back when". As always, there's a slight twist. We'll be looking at movies that depict the way it was back in the 1950's, yet none of these films were made until almost twenty years later! So in essence, we'll be looking back to the 70's and 80's to get a perspective of life in the 50's! When comes to movies, exploring the many themes is just part of and enjoyable journey....that we hope you'll travel with us!
We will not be bringing you the usual Friday night 30 minute broadcast due to necessary changes and upgrades being made to Tigress Corner Talk Radio. So join us for a special 15 minute broadcast where yours truly will bring you important announcement and updates regarding Tigress Corner Talk Radio and unpcoming events.
