Today dog training and behavior expert, Julie Forbes, talks with Brandie Ahlgren, editor of CityDog Magazine about fun holiday events coming up, their holiday gift guide, and then Julie hits some different points like "dog flipping", where the expression "shake if off" came from, and also some updates from past shows.
A new listener heard the interview from last week with Dr Donna Kelleher about the little shihtzu with GME who was cured with holistic medicine. Her dog was diagnosed with GME and she has been injected with hope that her dog may not need to die from this disease. Amazing!

Today we are sharing a sneek peek of the Tim Danahey Show, our latest additon to Coffee Talk Radio. This episode, "Election Analysis with Egberto Willies: Where Do We Go From Here" was originally broadcast November 5th.
From the post: Egberto Willies is a highly-respected national radio show host and political blogger with a constructive analysis of election results. One-sixth of all American eligible voters chose Republican candidates and the nation's political landscape has changed. What can we now expect from Republicans? What do the Democrats need to do? Has the effect of money in politics completely changed governance in America? Most important: What must we the citizens do?
The Tim Danahey Show started in July, 2010 at internet station Castle Rock Radio. It started as a one-day-per week endeavor and quickly grew to five days per week. The show discusses economics, government, social issues, history, and non-fiction books in a magazine format featuring in-depth conversations with guests. Politics and inflammatory conversations are discouraged as they are divisive and counter-productive. Instead, the show seeks under-reported topics and delves into facts, different perspectives, and ramifications of each perspective. This internet radio show posts five days a week at Danahey.com.
Tim Danahey was recently seated as the Director for Public and Member Outreach for Coffee Party USA.
LUNCH with LOUDEN
Jeanene Louden and co-host Debilyn Molineaux talk about current events and look for opportunities to bridge political divides, expose corruption and share information not covered in mainstream media.
This week Jennifer co-creates with Keidi Keating about her life and her newly released book ''The Light'.
"Twenty-two luminaries unconditionally contributed chapters to the book, including bestselling authors such as Neale Donald Walsch, Don Miguel Ruiz, Marci Shimoff, and Barbara Marx Hubbard.
The book manifested soon after I endured a life-stopping spell of depression, desperate to know what my purpose was in this lifetime. Eventually, when I realized I had reached rock bottom, I looked up and asked the Universe for a sign. Less than twenty-four hours later I received an answer, in the pages of a magazine, and this led me on a journey of intense healing. Amazing spiritual teachers began to magically show up in my life, all guiding me to step out of the darkness and shine my Light brighter."
Keidi Keating (taken from Keidi's website).
Together, we discuss aspects of the book, as well as talking about why Keidi decided to write it and her own personal journey. I found this interview to be absolutely fascinating and I'm sure that you will too. Keidi is going to have a regular slot on my show to discuss elements of the book, in the new year. This will be an opportunity for you to call in and ask any questions that come up for you and to have some great feedback. It is a great time to go and get a copy of this book which is life enhancing. We can also share and talk together about the practical implications of using the wisdom held within its pages. I love it, and I am sure you will too.
Listen to Keidi's unique interview with me on Thursday!
We try to live healthy and provide a healthy environment for our kids. But, the conveniences of modern living offer so many temptations, and well, it's hard to know if those things that claim to be good for us, really are good for us.

David Bradburn grew up outside of Chicago in Elgin, Illinois. Here, he shot his first film during high school: a compilation of shorts and mock commercials that he hoped would be funny enough to make it to America’s Funniest Home Videos.
25 years later, Bradburn has honed his craft and finds himself wearing the many different hats of the independent movie maker to see a project from script to screen. Serving as lead producer of the Von Steuben High School Film Festival for six years, Bradburn navigated the process of obtaining grants to bring filmmaking opportunities to Chicago high school students.
Bradburn’s films include “Home”, “The Night Before The Morning After”, “Superhero Me”, a finalist in the 2012 Beverly Hills Film Fest Writing Competition, My Brother’s Other Mother – a documentary chronicling his younger brother’s search for his birth mother in the Dominican Republic, and the soon to be finished “Sisters” which was written by Northwestern University’s Film Department Chair, Dave Tolchinsky. Bradburn’s successful launch into Chicago’s independent film community most recently landed him assignments with Kenmore and FOX.
Bradburn holds a BA from Wheaton College, and an M. Ed from UIC, and hasn’t given up on his American Funniest Home Video dreams.
