THIS WEEK’S MESSAGE:
Experiences perceived as paranormal are not uncommon, according to Richard Wiseman, a University of Hertfordshire psychologist and author of Paranormality, (Macmillion, 2011), which delves into the science (or lack thereof) of hauntings, psychics, telepathy and other supposedly inexplicable phenomena. The paranormal field is a mysterious one, full of things like the disembodied spirit (ghost) which decides to communicate with, and haunt the living, the incredible power of the human mind and will, amazing lights (ghost lights) that appear in the middle of nowhere, and other things that science cannot explain.
For the most part, most people avoid things of folklore in their readings of the paranormal and concentrate on topics that truly are supernatural phenomena.
The main reason why we tend to read the paranormal is to get closer to the truth. We want to learn as much about the supernatural in order to better understand it.
It seems that our beliefs can tell us a lot about human nature and psychology.
So why do people believe in the paranormal?

RESCHEDULED because of technical difficulties: Join me on Monday, September 22nd at 6 p.m. Pacific/9 Eastern on Radio Enso when I welcome writer, philosopher, and professional adventurer André Solo, the Rogue Priest, who returns to the show for what promises to be another great conversation! We’ll discuss his upcoming Fellowship of the Wheel bicycle trip across Mexico and much more!
About André: “I want to do extraordinary things, and help others do them. I want to feel what the epic heroes felt even when they were scared.” I’m André, your rogue priest. I’m a writer, a philosopher, and a professional adventurer. For me, adventure is a life practice, a tool for challenging yourself beyond your limit. To adventure is not just to discover who you are, but to re-create what you find.
I’m a polytheist priest. That means I recognize many faces of the divine, and I admit I do not know what the divine is. In fact, I’m on a rather long quest to find out if it exists at all. I do know that there is a powerful, beautiful force that moves many people through their spirituality. But I don’t know what that force is. Instead of putting my faith in it, I prefer to travel, learn and ask questions. And I like to think that we all have the power to improve our own lives, starting with ourselves, no matter what we believe.
About Fellowship of the Wheel: I’m bicycling across Mexico starting November 8 and I’d like you to come too. No cycling experience is necessary. I’ve divided the ride into 10 segments, some as short as 3 days and some as long as 7. My hope is that as many people as possible will try biking with me, and get a taste of adventure for themselves.

The mystery of kingdom is abundance of the seed. There are Master sowing secrets. Sowing is a masterpiece of god
The process of the seed!
Once the conditions have been satisfied for the process of seed germination, it is just a matter of time that they turn into a seedling. Some seeds, especially the ones with hard coats like the sunflower, morning glory, dates, acorn, corn, etc. need a couple of hours pre-soaking to speed up the germination of seeds.
After the seeds are sowed, and the soil misted with water, it (water) gets absorbed by the seeds through its coat, and provides moisture to the embryo nestled in it. This activates enzymes that help in duplication of plant cells, and also gets them to use the energy or food stored in the seed to start nourishing the embryonic plant. With all the nourishment, the embryo becomes too large, and bursts open through the seed coat, in search of light to start its process of photosynthesis, and thus, the growing plant emerges. During the same time, even the roots sprout and head down in search of more food from the soil. Both the root and plant shoot move downwards and upwards, simultaneously and respectively. In no time then, you will see the seedling force its way through the soil.
Funky beats, a rhythm that will keep you moving and meditating. One of the better CONNECTIONS you're find on the Internet. Donald Grammer cuts, blends, mixes jazz fusion, like no one else. Music is the universal language. When you have a great song on, it can mood you, and entice. Close your eyes and hear new concepts and realisms with notes jumping off the graph. On Sunday I asked 5 different groups on Facebook how they felt about holding hands in public, being kissed in front of friends or being called a special name by a partner? Some of the responses I will share on this show. What's interesting is the unease felt about how much affection should be publicly shown and levels of comfort from those witnessing the display.
What's your opinion? Could there be a stronger underlying reason why some of us struggle with affection? Are we more comfortable with affection when we know there is the possibility of sex with a partner? If you don't kiss in public or hold hands how important is affection behind closed doors? Should affection be a private matter for just you and your partner?
