"It's My Money and I Want It!" with Harris Glasser
Harris Glasser is a lighthearted, successful businessman with more than 46 years of personal experience handling various financial situations for both himself and others - and getting the desired results. Easy, and at times really fun, his approaches weren't learned in school but were mastered through practiced efforts with real-life experiences.
His insights into the resolution of everyday life situations are always very simple, very down to earth and easily applied by anyone. Harris always found, and it always proved itself by his experiences, that one does not need to study and read book upon book for answers. Simple common sense that we all possess, applied to many situaations, gives us the key to the answers we are looking for.
This book is now included in "It's My Money & I Want It! 2nd Edition." It includes: Navigating the world of business, a house holder's financial guide, that shows you how to stop losing your money to the financial bullies (health insurance companies, collection companies, medical bills, credit reports etc.), along with handling IRS audits, discussing corporate responsibility & numerous money saving tips and advice. Read the true stories of others who have been successful by simply following the easy step-by-step guide.

The church world is abuzz about money. One man, David Lee, claims to have had his ministerial credentials revoked and was forcibly removed from The Potter's House Church in Dallas because his book " The Sunday Morning Stickup" discussed how tithing isn't required under the new covenant through Christ. Also, rapper turned pastor, Mason (Mase) Betha has left his ministry to perform rap full-time. In both cases, the underlying issue was money. Why is money such a terrible issue in the church (and the black church in particular)? Should pastors consider full-time or bi-vocational ministry as options to accumulating the wealth they need? Join Pastor Neal for discussion on this and other topics.
A professor of mine once said, "Why do I feel better when I have $20 in my pocket than nothing?"
92% of workers report high stress over money matters according to Corporate Wellness Magazine.
This stress results in migraines, insomnia, asthma, ulcers, and worse.
The New York State Social Work Conference has asked me to speak on just this topic in August. They're worried about their workers.
The stress hormone, cortisol, is designed only for short bursts of energy, like the zebra on the plains of Africa running furiously to get away from a lion.
Once the chase is over, and the zebra survives (if), the body returns to normal.
With chronic, long-term stress, as from money worries, long-term cortisol can damage almost every part of the body.
So getting money solutions to debt, taxes, saving for the kids' education, building an emergency account, and saving for sound retirement is good for your health.

Welcome to the first of our episodes on your money. There's a lot of fear about money and some of it is real, some not. Franklin D. Roosevelt said that the only thing to fear in the depths of the Great Depression, is fear itself. Oprah calls fear, false evidence appearing real.
