PROGRAM TIME 8AM-10AM EST
Am I the only person confused about everything? I am being told black lives matter, People are saying white lives matter. Making things even more confusing is when one has to apologize for saying all lives matter? Now throw in even more confusion. Demo's and GOP's seem to be fighting more among theirselves istead against the opposing party. Next, I read the DNC makes a fundraising deal with Hillary while the GOP does not seem to care Carly Fiorina is being left out of the CNN Debate. Yep, things are are little confusing.
Join me "In the Pickle Barrel" at 8AM EST as we try to decifer what all of this means. I swear the more I think I know about what is going on the more I get confused.

Joey Reiman never thought something as small as his thumb would change his life forever. After a paralyzing accident in 1975, he was told he may never move his hand again. Refusing to accept this prognosis all Reiman wanted to do was move his thumb. He thought, "If I could just raise my thumb, the rest would follow." With this seed of what he calls "optimalism," believing that optimism creates optimal outcomes, Joey did it. He gave himself a thumbs up.
Within his new book, Thumbs Up! Reiman aims to provide readers with the inspiration and tools they need to take their circumstances, which may be negative at the time, and turn them into positive, productive experiences. Additionally, he offers readers applicable tools they can use to live more meaningful lives, including the framework on how to find purpose in one week.
Joey Reiman is founder and CEO of the International Center for Applied Purpose and global consultancy, Brighthouse, a company whose mission is to bring purpose the the world of business. Reiman has emerged as the leading expert in the areas of purpose-inspired leadership, marketing and innovation.
Joey Reiman is a frequent marketing and branding guest expert on CNN. Mahatma Gandhi's grandson, Arun Ghandhi and world renowned professor Philip Lotler call him "The Moses of Marketing." He has been named one of the 100 people who will change the way the world thinks.
Joey will be with us today to tell us how to activate our dreams into actions.

With the 2015 NFL season a couple of weeks away, I'll be looking the rookie class. Which rookie(s) will have the most impact on their team this season? Which rookie(s) will be disappointing? I'll also be contiuning my look at the college football Power 5 conferences today by previewing the Pac-12 conference and giving my predictions for how the conference will shake out this season. I'll also talk about Kyrie Irving and his knee injury. Reports are out saying Irving may not play until January. How will this setback affect the Cavs' quest for the NBA title? Will he be able to come back at 100%?
INNOVATION AND HIGHER ED: "CAN WE TEACH THE ELEPHANTS TO DANCE"
My guests gave us this title. So "Teaching the elephants" today will be Penn State profs Kyle Peck and Dave Passmore along with the one and only John Foster (Nittany Lion he), president of NOCTI.
The adding of virtuous habits and the elimination of, well, not so good habits, has been, is now and will continue to be a hot topic for many people. The adoption of virutes moves us toward eliminating "The Integrity Ga" that exists for most of us.
Moving through the literature on this topic yields some very interesting strategies given by some very credible authors. I have no intention of even attempting to discreit the two authors I will discuss namely, Benamin Franklin and Abraham Maslow for I met (the writings of) these two men at two different times of need. Each man took me to a higher place for which I was very grateful. Their writings and strategies, however, left me with questions and a lack of fultillment; I knew there was something better; something more.
My invitation to you is to join me in this message; it's my journey and the journey of many others. Perhaps this will save you some time in your path to a more contented, fulfilled life. The journey isn't supposed to be hard; in fact, it's a joyous one. Let's look at Benjamin Franklin and Abraham Maslow to get some direction.
