    Mary - Mitchell Campbell Mary-Mitchell was recently seen conducting and playing for Carole King, Alicia Keys, and Katy Perry at the Dolby theater in Los Angeles alongside Quincy Jones. As a Broadway Musical Director her credits include: Company (for which she won a Drama Desk Award for Orchestrations); The Addams Family: Carrie; Hello Again ( for which she received a Drama Desk nomination for Orchestrations); In Transit; Sweeney Todd; Road Show; Next to Normal (Second Stage); First Lady Suite; and Sweet Charity (Lincoln Center). In addition to her musical career, Mary-Mitchell is the founder of ASTEP-Artists Striving to End Poverty (www.asteponline.org) and is passionate about arts education and poverty reduction. She has been featured on the television show “Giving,” and was NY1's New Yorker of the Week for her philanthropic work. She has served on the faculties of NYU, Boston College and Juilliard. She holds degrees from Furman University and North Carolina School of the Arts.

    Host David J. Diamond welcomes colleagues, Roberta Levitow (Co-founder and Director of Theatre Without Borders) and Frank Hentschker (Executive Director of The Segal Center) to discuss issues of Artists Working Internationally. At the imminent launch of the Cultural Mobility Funding Guide for the U.S., we will discuss resources, challenges and strategies for artists who wish to travel to other countries to work in the theatre, do residencies, study and present work.


    The colleagues, along with Marie Le Sourd of On the Move and others, have created the first Funding Guide of this kind in the United States. On January 7th, they present a full-day Symposium at the Segal Center in New York City to launch the Guide and grapple with the challenges faced by artists working internationally. With over 250 artists, administrators, funders and supporters from around the world, they will discuss issues ranging from visa and legal issues to arts-human rights work.

    720 Degree Tennis - Joey Scrivano - Baylor Women's Tennis

    In his 12 seasons leading the Baylor women's tennis program, head coach Joey Scrivano has put his Lady Bears among the nation's elite.


    Scrivano has led BU to 10 Big 12 regular-season titles, a current string of seven out of nine Big 12 Tournament titles, and 10 consecutive NCAA Championship appearances, reaching the NCAA Final Four in 2008 and 2011.

    Scrivano has compiled an astounding 116-10 (.921) mark in the Big 12, along with a 286-85 (.771) mark overall as the leader of the program. In his time at BU, he has been named the Big 12 Coach of the Year five times (2006, 2008, 2009, 2013, 2014) and the ITA Regional Coach of the Year three times (2006, 2008, 2010).


    Bill Patton is a 26 year veteran of the Tennis Industry. He has a B.S. in Industrial Psychology from CSUEB, and has written a Masters Thesis in Education at National University.  As an Author, Coach, Thought Leader, Tournament Director, etc. he has never stopped working to branch out and learn new things.
