The Kerri Edelman Show presents Dark Alt/Hard Rock Band September Mourning

    in Rock Music

September Mourning has just recorded her debut EP. It tells a story in 6 songs, an epic tale of “heartbreak, loss, pain, joy, love, redemption, but most of all, courage…” Produced by Sahaj Ticotin, September Mourning revives the concept of rock star meets superhero. If Marilyn Manson and X-Men's Storm had a kid, it would be September Mourning, who also cites influences as varied as Paramore, Motionless in White, David Bowie, and My Chemical Romance. “For me, the project is a story, a theatrical art piece,” September explains. “Music is the backbone, but for this to work, it has to include the imagery and the narrative all symbiotically linked into the whole. Music taps into your innermost being. There’s something very intimate and personal about it.” The character of September Mourning is a human-reaper hybrid, who feels the need to give some human souls a second chance, and thus toys with Fate. To expound on this narrative, September is working with iconic comic book artist Marc Silvestri, who started out on the original X-Men comics and went on to form Top Cow Productions (Witchblade, The Darkness). Together, they are putting together the story of September Mourning in graphic form, to accompany, and enhance the musical message. Having toured with Marilyn Manson, September Mourning has already built up an impressive fan base, which she calls her “Children of Fate,” constantly encouraging them to have “the courage to embrace their passion… to allow yourself to follow your heart and not be a slave to your fears. To know that the only boundaries that exist in our lives are the ones we allow.” Be sure to pick up a copy of their amazing EP titled 'Volume I' featuring the hit single 'Eye Of The Storm.' The Show Must Go On With SR Rabbit!

    in Entertainment

As I struggled through the weekend with my cold, I feared I would cancel my Monday segment. We know how that phrase goes, though. "The show must go on." The phrase has passed through generations of theaters, both stage and film, TV shows, school, and -- well, you get the idea.

I know it's Dancing Monday. Be sure to have your tennis shoes and a water bottle. This will be a short segment, though, as I am trying to bite off this cold. Yikes!

    Lina Jones DiamondNetwork Holiday Show

    in Social Networking

    What's Up #Diamonds,

Welcome to another episode of the Lina Jones DiamondNetwork Show, this ismy last live show of the year. Monday’s show will be all about the holiday’s this will be my 2nd year having a holiday show and I am so excited! I am appreciative & thankful for your listening participation.

Holiday shows are always such #fun we receive calls from past guest interviews they call-in to say hello and share their holiday plans or traditions with us, I love finding out how people spend the holidays some have the same traditions as you and I. You'd be surprise to see what you have in common with others, some folks don't really do anything for the holidays Christmas is just another day of relaxation, others are getting together with friends and family exchanging gifts having big fun!  Christmas morning is not so special in my house especially now that there is no little kids, we get up exchange gifts and relax the rest of the day, go out to dinner and that’s pretty much it.

December I will be playing podcasts from 3 of my most listened to shows. I will be on vacay there is always so much going on leading up to Xmas even if Xmas day is mellow the days leading up to it can get crazy! It's a little difficult to try to plan a show properly and this is a good example my show’s write-up is late today. Be prepared cause you might hear some mishaps but make no mistakes I never claimed that my show is perfect maybe that's what makes it special to my listeners. Stay listening  for the month of December to check out my podcasts then join me in  January 2016.For new interviews and a few more surprises remember the show will be change from 2 hrs to 1 hr starting 7:00 - 8pm EST make sure to note the new time. Have Merry Xmas and a Blessed New Year, don’t forget to check out the December updates on the shows website at LJDNShow.
