These six police officers have been arrested and charged with the murder of Freddie Gray. The protests ans subsequent riots in Baltimore has brought MORE national attention to the issue of Blacks being shot by police. In this case it is almost as if the flames of the fire are not actually out but smuldering in anticipation of an uprising. Some are saying that the arrests of these 6 officers is political motivated and a qay to appease an angry mob. As the actual facts come out in this investigation all are wondering if the charges will stick or if this will be another Ferguson even under a Eric Holder Justice Department.
Many have been unfairly harrassed by police, driving whie black, sitting while black, walking while black, breathing while black, that seems to be the only offense they committed. But blackness is not a crime, and of the 250,000 stop and frisk incidents recorded by police in the first quarter of 2015, the vast majority were African Americans, who were let go without any charges. This is unconstitutional, and today's guests, from the lawfirm of Romanucci and Blandin, will explain the Federal Class Action lawsuit filed on behalf of those who have been unlawfully stopped and searched by police. Rev. Paul Jakes has organized an effort to spread the word to those who have been harrassed without cause within the last two years to enable them to be a part of the lawsuit.
The Back Story is an online journal of fact (original reporting) and opinion. It is specifically intended to be an alternative to the local newspaper, where certain news items are under-reported (or not reported at all), where not all points of view make it into print, and where current economic conditions have rendered investigative reporting all but extinct.
The emphasis will be on the Stanislaus County area: political, economic, social, cultural that affect those of us who live here.
We are not suggesting that we are going to supplant the daily newspaper, but we ARE stating that there is a considerable gap between what happens in and around our communities and what is reported, and we propose to fill that gap.
There are individuals, groups and concepts that are considered untouchable, and we think that is very unhealthy and downright dangerous to the concept of representative democracy.
There’s a lot going on in our city that affects you – events and issues you need to know about. The Bee has failed us as a reliable news source. You have to look further than the Modesto Bee. Fortunately, you have a choice with news and comment by Mayor Sabatino.
You can get the REAL facts about important local issues on The Back Story.
Streaming to your computer @ http://www.blogtalkradio.com/thebackstory – from 11:30 to noon daily. Again – that is The Back Story – daily from 11:30 to noon.
You will notice the difference.

We have another case in the news of a black man being killed by the police. This has brought out activists, race pimps, students, pastors, and just about everybody else for Freddie Gray. One thing the media won't touch is the fact Freddie Gray and many of the other black men had long history of criminal activities. They were already headed down the road to be dead by their actions. Why am I suppose to be marching for them when you can say with almost certainty they have participated in activities that has lead to injury and death of other black men? The problem is we have everybody marching after these black men are killed but nobody stepping in before these clowns start their criminal careers. These hoodlums are the reasons other hoodlums are tearing up their neighborhood and innocent people are suffering from the loss of property and amenities. Now it is the problem that the National Guard and a heavier police presence is required to restore law and order. Tell me why are we blinking an eye at this foolishness. Now the State's Attorney has decided to file charges against the six police officers for the death of Freddie Gray

With the recent riots in Baltimore it would not be right not to discuss this issue of police brutality. For years black men have felt that the police have mistreated them and even killed them based on the color of their skin. With the deaths of Eric Garner, Michael Brown, Walter Scott, Freddy Gray and countless others, has brought outrage amoung many Americans. They fell that the system designed to protect them is acutally out to kill them. This Thursday at 8:00 PM live on As Real As It Gets Radio Show join my co-hosts Amber (AJ) Jones, Kristin (K'Mecca) Zuller and I as we discuss this topic.
Also we will discuss the upcoming fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao. Who will win and why. Join us Thursday at 8:00 PM live on blogtalkradio.com/araig
