For years David Elliot Penton stalked elementary schools and playgrounds looking for young girls from low-income neighborhoods to abduct, rape and murder. He thought of them as "throwaway kids"-hardly missed, and soon forgotten, except by those who loved them. He was every parent's worst nightmare. The bogeyman they warned their children about ... the fiend who lurked outside bedroom windows.
Christi Meeks disappeared during a game of hide-and-seek outside her mother's Mesquite apartment complex in January 1985 and was found dead less than three months later in Lake Texoma.
Christie Proctor's body was found in a south Plano field in April 1988, more than two years after the fourth-grader was last seen walking from her North Dallas apartment to a friend's house. And Roxann Reyes was snatched from an alley while playing outside her Garland apartment in November 1987.
This story focuses on the work of a team of police detectives, starting with Garland Police Detective Gary Sweet, who picked up the cases of the three missing girls after they'd gone cold.
In 1996, years after the murders, he found the girls' files and information on suspect David Elliot Penton. "For some reason, out of all the stuff that was in those two boxes, I pulled out a file and started reading about him," Sweet said.
Penton was in jail in Ohio for killing 9-year-old Nydra Ross. What followed was a series of fateful twists — from reviewing old tips, to conducting new interviews and gathering information shared by Penton's cellmates. By 2003, Sweet and the team had enough to indict Penton. TRUE DETECTIVE-From The Detective's Perspective-Gary Sweet
Tonight is an introduction to next week's show Legalized Murder. Next week I will have as my guest a Viet Nam Combat War Veteran I met recently. WE were discussing the U.S. re-engagement of military forces in Iraq. And he said, yeah, more legalized murder. So tonight I am going to look at the philosophy of war and the progression from war to defense and prepare the way for me to discuss war as legalized murder with an actual combat war veteran.
Tonight we are getting back into two subjects covered last week, ISIS and their recruiting efforts in Ferguson. We'll also talk about the American Journalist, James Foley, beheading at the hands of ISIS. What are we doing about this threat?
Join the nationally team of Ronald A. Edwards and Don Allen as we talk about the incident in Ferguson, MO and the killing of Michael Brown. Is this also a killing of black and brown Americans?

On tonight's show host Pamela Marie Edmunds will be interviewing Author Lyn Ragan. They will be discussing Lyn's book "We Need to Talk; Living with the Afterlife." This is one of several books about Lyn's experiences with her finance' Chip after his death.
More About Lyn Ragan:
Lyn Ragan knew at the age of fourteen she would write a book one day. She subscribed to True Crime and True Detective, reading each edition faithfully while plotting her fiction novel she never wrote. Twenty-five years later, she met the love of her life never thinking she’d be involved in a real-life crime. After her fiancé’s murder, she followed his guidance by way of ADC’s, (After Death Communications). From the other side, Chip insisted she write their story. Despite her struggles with grief and added defiance, she reluctantly gave in. Following Chip’s communications, she penned their first book, Wake Me Up! Love and The Afterlife.
Years later, Lyn was moved to write again. Encouraged to share their deepest connections, she intuitively used his words as inspiration and titled their second book, We Need To Talk: Living With The Afterlife. While writing her novels, Lyn was introduced to the spiritual arts of energy work. She pursued an intense meditation practice and went on to study Reiki Healing, Auric Energies, and Chakra Balancing. She later used her studies to become a professional Aura Photographer, an Ordained Minister, a Children’s Book author, and a publisher. Lyn is excited to bring her talents together in order to touch the lives of others with Chip’s communications from the Afterlife. She lives in Atlanta with her fur-kids, Scooby and Chipper. Lyn can be found online at www.LynRagan.com, and on Facebook at WeNeedToTalkBook, or WakeMeUpBook.
We Feed the Homeless Philly Community Activist Craig Stroman and Urban Therapy with SUN are coming together on this show to try to unravel the violence that is so pervasive in our society today. You have to admit that things are pretty ridiculous right now when we consider the stories of so many unarmed Black men being killed by our police forces in different parts of the country. Yeah and it does seem to be a Black thing once again. This is not a new problem and even more unfortunate is that it's something that we are seeming to get used to. This is unacceptable. Something has to be done about the people that our tax dollars pay to protect and serve but who are becoming the criminals themselves. As crazy as it sounds, the cops are now the ones making the news for robbing, raping and murder. Really? Not acceptable. We need to holla at y'all about this.
Our youth seem to be out of control. Our adults seem to be out of control. Our gangs have never been under our control but how much longer can we afford to look the other way about our counter-cultures and expect anything to improve?
We seem to settling our differences with weapons more and more and who do we have to blame for this? Is it our government agencies that give us access to the weapons? Would eliminating the weapons stop the violence anyway?
Is it the media that glorifies the eye for an eye ideology to blame for all this violence? Can we blame the media for everything? What is our individual role in all of this and what can we do to help?
Are y'all ready for this one? Are you sure?........ Could the things that we are eating be part of the reason for all the violence that we are being exposed to? Sit on that one for a minute.

Is there are reality to the issue of "Death Panels" within healthcare packages given to those with Disabilities and Senior? In my mind and after person experience in dealing with health care providers I can see that there is a very complex hidden system that allows for the lack of treatment of those that are being determined and useless to todays society on the basis of "Income type of health issues and now who is paying the bills on this one.
The very people who are being discriminated against in healthcare. In fact these care measures are acting in violation on the ADA laws which prohibited discrimination towards the treatment of those with Disabilities and what's more interesting is that the very people who are being "murdered slowly" within plan care lack of treatment and the people who worked all of their lives jobs who took away there 401k's rights to the very real finance within social security which was used to fund military projects. These politicans and using us as they did in ancient Rome during the time of NERO to fund future projects that they have no budget for in order to coverup the robbery of social security from years pass.
Many senior have no clue of the issue of medical care and just follow the trend, whereby if they reach an age of what maybe concluded as "Time to Die" they are placed in a non care line-up within medical care health providerships operated from within insurance companies and by those who are in adminstrative levels of hospitals and medical care facilities.
What can be done, well it is another election time and unless you are ok with dying when it's not your time and or your planned not to be removed from this planet you need to make you voice heard and tell those people involved you are seeing that they do something or; you will not help them get re-elected into office, nor will you provide a dollar of support to their campaign.
