Jeremy and Chris are getting the entire Mountain West Connection staff on this podcast -- not at one time, that would be madness -- to give predictions on the Mountain West season. The staff will be asked these four questions:
Mountain West title game participants and winner:
Player of the year:
Coach of the year:
Pretty basic and with a staff of around 20 or so writers we don't want this show to drag on forever.
Mountain West media days take place in Las Vegas on July 22 and 23, so to get everyone prepared we decided to preview the event. Not a ton of news comes out of media day so Matthew, Jeremy and Chris predict who the media will pick to win the Mountain and West divisions, plus the offensive and defensive players of the year.
Since no one from the staff can be at media days we go out of our way to pick who we would like to talk to the most from players and coaches. We give legitimate questions as well some off the all one's, too.
Have a listen as we get everyone prepped for the event to signifies football is just around the corner.
Jeremy and Chris are starting to preview and breakdown the Mountain West football season. We are starting with a big breakdown of how we think the league will finish with bowl projections, key players and early Mountain West title game participants.
This is early to do this but going forward we will be breaking down each team once a week up until the season begins, and then we will likely revisit these projections come late August.
We are back! Jeremy Mauss and Chris Hondros bring back the podcast on a regular basis (at least once a week) as we trek forward toward the 2014 college football season.
Monday night's show will recap spring football and we will be looking at the plethora of position battles at quarterback around the league. We will discuss UNLV's postseason ban and also the TV schedule that has been released for most of the Mountain West games.
The Mountain West had their spring meetings recently and discussed many topics including expansion, the length of the college basketball conference seasons, competing with bigger conferences and extra money from the college football playoff.
We will also get into some transfer -- or really non-transfer news -- UNLV basketball getting to showcase recruits at the 18-U national team and of course other randomness since this is still a mostly college football show and it is May.
Cubbies Crib co-editor Jacob Misener will joined by staff writer and co-host Chris Shackman as the pair talks the latest in Cubs' baseball. Our special guest this week will be Chicago infield prospect Dustin Geiger, as he sits down with the guys for a special one-hour episode of Climbing the Ivy.
Tune in this Saturday, February 15 at 5 p.m. CT for the next episode of Climbing the Ivy. We'll talk the latest from Spring Training, the Cubs and what its like to be a big-league prospect.
Richard Diaz caught up with Joseph Gray, 2014 USA Mountain Running National Champion on his way to the Kendall Mountain Sky Race. Winning The US Mountain Running Championship means Joe will travel to the World Championships in Italy this summer with US Team.
Gray took home his ninth national title Sunday, capturing the 2014 USA Mountain Running Championship on Loon Mountain in Lincoln, New Hampshire. Gray won his third USA Mountain Running crown, finishing in 45:52.3. The race marked Gray’s first national title on an uphill-only course with Loon Mountain featuring an average of 10% grade throughout the race with an insanely steep course to reach the finish line.
Adam Tate (Tribute Racing) & Christopher DeHarde (Motorsport.com) look ahead to the Milwaukee Mile as the US ladder series hit the flat, fast oval.
They take a look at the USF2000 Series, Pro Mazda Championship, and Indy Lights. With an exclusive interview with Pro Mazda Championship points leader Spencer Pigot of Juncos Racing. Could he be headed to Indy Lights in 2015? What is on the horizon for this young superstar? What driver has been most influental in his career? We look to that and more on this edition of Climbing the Grid: The Road to Indy.
On Sunday's show we will be talking all hoops with a look back at the weekend, specifically New Mexico vs. San Diego State. Plus, we look ahead to the Mountain West tournament.
Tonight's guests we have Brad Best and Marc Cox who each cover San Diego State, and New Mexico for Mountain West Connection.
Continuing the series of the North American Sasquatch Researcher, Nite Callers Bigfoot Radio is honored to bring you a Sasquatch research team out of the Rocky Mountains. They call themselves the Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization R.M.S.O. Team members include Kelly Shaw, Derek Wright, Jenny Higley, and Brody Lewis.
Kelly Shaw has been a Bigfoot enthusiast since he was 8 when his grandfather told him about his close up encounter with a family of three Bigfoot during the 1920’s in Mount St. Helens Washington. After that Kelly started reading everything he could and realized he was actually living in an active area. When he was old enough, he began camping in areas with sightings reports and has kept up this practice through adulthood. Derek Wright, who has had an up close encounter, joined Kelly Shaw and they created the Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization. Together they would document and study the Sasquatch in the Rocky Mountain area. Jenny Higley and Brody Lewis, brother and sister, grew up in the outdoors and possessed great tracking abilities. Jenny joined the team four years later and Brody, a prospector, joined last year. This team has been successful in finding many tracks, tree formations and documented local wildlife. Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization has a hexadrone helicoptor they call “Squawk” which gives the team a great advantage over the rugged terrain. Join Nite Callers Bigfoot Radio for a very fascinating show.

Jeremy and Chris get together to recap the wild signing day that was as it pertains to the Mountain West. We will discuss who earned the best class, go over winners and losers, the surprise signings, team needs and of course our typical show of going off topic and randomness.
We don't claim to be experts in breaking down high school film or project who will be the next biggest star in the Mountain West, but we do know how to make sense of all of the information that was handed down on Wednesday.
Before the show airs make sure to get caught up with all of our signing day coverage which he have been compiling all year round.
