"The Matt Duffin Show" - Remember Me? The Lil' Engine That Could?

    in Education

    I think I can, I think I can, I think...

The Little Engine that Could, and I'm chuggin' along again.  Sorta like THE Mr. Billy Jack once did.  One tin soilder walks away, ya know. And you thought I was just a Hoosier? OK, Sailor? TBI Guy?  Mean? Back again after a Sabbatical/Hiatus/Pause from BIRN (and more) I'm just plain, not-simple-but-differient Matt. As in Duffin (Muffin with a 'D'). Matt Duffn from Milton Indiana. I created the Sunday Night slot on Brain Injury Radio.

Wasn't Joey Giggles a fine replacement for our TBI-type?  Thank you Sir, a fine example of what our TBI community is all about - sharing and caring, in which evolved YOUR Sunday night show.  Oh, and Laughing (smiles manditory).. Learning? (Usually). Guests? Always.  Hoping for YOU of course. Flirting? Uh, comes with the territory.  And YES, I enjoy making people feel good about themselves. If I was actually 'flirting' with all you lovely dolls, my wife would crack me in the head. If I had one, wife that is. I got a head. Wanna see the MRI history?

Sam Way has called in (after 4 months OFF), and  new TMDS co-host Jenny J Johnson may need more time as well (we shall see and await her presence) - lot's took place in her precious world recently.  A wonderful TBI success story of support and 'drive', Jenny's been 'ADVOCARE-ing" in life again, From Valaprasio, Indiana, she' and her mother have created Support Groups over the past year and a half. Daniel Mollino is taking his TBI Awareness on the road - literally.  Bike riding solo from New Jersey to San Francisco this summer, this Survivor can toss a LOT of talent at you.  Sue Root is anticipated & music by Jim Thalls and Crossroads.

Ready?  Who cares - Let's ROCK!

Why making Decisions based on facts are good but other’s feelings are bad

    in Religion

So many of us live our lives with a desire to do so with compassion and sensitivity.  There is nothing wrong with that except for when it comes to making decisions or choices in your life.  We carefully plan our decisions or choices in order not to be seen as selfish, arrogant or rude toward another human being.  We carefully step in order never to offend another and in doing so, we wonder why much of our life is spent wondering why things do not work out well for us.  Our first thought is to blame God for the direction our lives may be headed and if that doesn’t work we tend to then blame anyone and everyone else because we cannot figure out how a caring, loving person, such as ourselves, could end up in so much mess.  The problem is, we fail to consider that the reason our lives are in so much of a mess is we fail to honor that simple phrase given to us by Jesus Christ himself when he says that before you attempt to help your brother remove the splinter from his eye, you must first remove the beam from your own.  We refuse to heed these words because to some, this sounds a little selfish and Lord knows we don’t want to be selfish but what if I told you that keeping to what Jesus said is not selfish as long as we prevent ourselves from crossing over into enemy territory by avoiding the excessiveness that often closely follows and an all actions.  Consider this, could evil have set this thing up so following Jesus’ words seem selfish to prevent us from ever discovering just how much more enjoyable and stress free this life could be if we followed it.  Here’s an example.

And that is not asking too much because we already worked for the man for four hundred years.

And in my conclusion I repeat: We want no part of integration with this wicked race of devils. But he also says we should not be expected to leave America empty-handed. After four hundred years of slave labor, we have some back pay coming. A bill that is owed to us and must be collected. If the government of America truly repents of its sins against our people and atones by giving us our true share of the land and the wealth, then America can save herself. But if America waits for God to step in and force her to make a just settlement, God will take this entire continent away from the white man. And the Bible says that God can then give the kingdom to whomsoever he pleases. I thank you.

    REPARATIONS FOR THE AFRICAN AMERICAN

Reparations is a point of agrrement for all African Americans.

This is a composition of some of the excerpts form Malcolm El Haji Malik Shabazz's speech on THE BLACK REVOLUTION.  It can serve as a detailed outline for the Revolutionary forum on Reparations. "If a seventh of the population of this country is black, then give us a seventh of the territory, a seventh part of the county. And that is not asking too much because we already worked for the man for four hundred years. "....it must not be in the desert, but where there is plenty of rain and much mineral wealth. Huey P. Newton's analysis of Reparations is a bit deeper and more broad as it includes the entire realm of African People's. Lets get into that now..........

WORLD WIDE AFRICA THE VOICE OF THE PAN AFRICAN MOVEMENT

    in Politics

Today we have a lack of understanding of what revolution should be and what we are doing today.  It is apparent that Black African People all over the world are fighting against police brutality that is imposed on us.  We have become reactionary revolutionaries and that is not good. We must establish a firm revolutionary base and find a theater of war in order to fight this battle agains the righteous People of the world. We must establish a firm Pan African Forum to address the issues which we are faced with daily. We African Americans claim, by rights of heritage and reparations,  the Deep South: Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, the Carolinas, Florida and Texas . In these areas Blacks and Brown skin people already constitute a numerical majority. One set of these counties lies along the Mississippi River from Memphis to the Louisiana border and constitutes a contiguous territory containing more than 15,000 square miles – a territory  called the Kush District . Here is where the Provisional Government of the Republic of New Africa should open its struggle for land and independence. Land that we settled and worked for. We must create a system which is diametrically opposed to the system under which we are now living.  We must create a system that is based on a Cultural Revolution because the major preoccupation of a revolutionary is not to be a Reactionary but building and creating. From the ashes of the old to create the new.  Burning and looting has its purpose in Revolution to put things into perspective the destruction of business in our neighborhood that destroy our business and our families. The fact that in Black neighborhoods there are Liquor Stores on every coroner and drug dealers that destroy the Black Family.  Black owned Business that are being undermined by White Establishment Corporations this must cease.
