“A little jealousy proves she loves me, doesn’t it?” “I love it when he gets really jealous. It makes him act so dominant and sexy!” “I guess she really loves me because she went over and beat up my ex when she found out my ex and I were talking again.” And now a famous quote, “If I’m the one who killed her ….after she started seeing that other guy ….doesn’t that prove I really loved her?” After all, jealousy proves love, doesn’t it? Those are real life quotes representing the spectrum of how a large number of people think about love and jealousy in the modern world. Those quotes also show how large parts of our culture teach or subconsciously program people to mis-understand the relationship between love and jealousy.
Coming together in search God's Word for his wisdom will ground us.
The early Church dynamic:
They gathered together in homes, often in secret, reminding one another of God's promises, and relating Jesus' commands—to love God and others— to real life situations. They encouraged one another, challenged one another, and worked out what it feels like to be a Christian. Sherwin Simple is offering the same concept. In fact, he is doing exactly as it is in the Bible. God created us to live in a community—and especially to read & learn Scripture in a community. It's only together that we can accurately interpret and apply the Word. So if you don't currently participate in a small-group Bible study. Now is the perfect time to join in and listen to Simple Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.

Sharon does not have diabetes. She descends from a family where type 2 diabetes and its complications are prevalent: mother, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins. She is of the belief that leading a healthy lifestyle can greatly reduce her risk for developing the disease for which she may be genetically predisposed. Her passion is to reach those communities that are at high risk and inform them of the common complications associated with diabetes and of ways type 2 diabetes can be delayed, managed or even prevented by the lifestyle choices we make. Sharon also has several friends who live with type 1 diabetes. It is her hope that helping to raise awareness about the work of the American Diabetes Association will aid in their gaining access to more resources toward developing a cure.
