Ep. 1 - 1 on 1 with Giants QB Eli Manning

    in Sports

NY Giants QB Eli Manning is in his 9th year as host of the Guiding Eyes for the Blind Golf Classic. I have been honored to be the emcee for the event for nearly a decade as well.

We caught up and talked about his connection to this fascinating charity.  While we were talking, news broke over Twitter that Patriots QB Tom Brady, who is 0-2 against Manning in the Super Bowl, was being suspended for 4 games due to his involvement in "deflategate."  Manning was professional in addressing his QB rival, but did offer unique insight on his experience this off-season trying out balls that had been deflated, and gives his opinion on the possible advantage.

On the 1st "From the Press Box" episode, we will hear my exclusive chat with Eli, & then his media interview right after news broke.

Cowboys 2015 OTAs Kick Off And Drama Ensues Immediately

    in Sports

Up and comer talking trash about the guy he's replacing? Check. It's just another day in the life of the Dallas Cowboys as the first of three OTA sessions kick off.

KD Drummond of CowboysHQ.com is joined by Keith Mullins as they discuss the impact of Ro McClain missing the non-contact practices over the next month, and the return of Sean Lee. Then, KD is joined by Cowboys Insider Mike Fisher to run down the day of practice that was open to the media and kicked off with a Jason Garrett press conference. They also dive into the NFL's befuddling anarchy and lack of long-term concern over their current methodology.

All this and more, as only we can do it. It's Crunchtime! Join us!

    The Exchange - Ocean's FIFA

    in Sports

If you're going to be corrupt, at least do it big like a movie villain. And goodness, no one knows how to be corrupt in sports like FIFA. When the IRS calls an investigation "the World Cup of fraud" in a press conference, you know the dirty deeds were done at impressively high levels.

On a Wednesday edition of The Exchange, Sumit and Jason chat will talk about the arrests and indictments of multiple high-level FIFA officials in Switzerland and the investigation here in the United States. From the comical to the unnerving to the maddening, they'll jump into it all as the possible extradition and further arrests are still happening. They will also throw a few thoughts out on the ongoing NBA Western Conference Finals and the conference finals in the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Come through The Exchange in the chat room, on Twitter (@skd_thExchange and @asportsscribe) and on the phone lines at 347-202-0247.

Family Time with Mike Dee & Darrel Gardner Horsemanship Show

    in Social Networking

    7:30PM to 8:30PM

    The Mike Moore Show

The President of the Lone Star High Steppers

    8:30 PM to 10:30 PM

Darrell Gardner's Horsemanship was founded upon four principles:

    Showing Your Horse Love
By expressing love to your horse it helps to build a good relationship and strong bond. This will lead to a better response from your horse.

    Gaining Respect
If you don't have respect on the ground, you won't have it on the saddle. Respect is an essential part of horsemanship and it begins with good ground manners

    Teaching Obedience
Obedience comes with consistent training. This teaches your horse what you expect and how to quickly respond to the cues given.

Loyalty between the horse and trainer
It all begins with gaining trust. Your initial approach is extremely important. It takes patience and time to get your horse to gain faith in you.
