• How to Become an Incomparable Expert (Step-By-Step How-To)

    in Business

The whole idea of having a “Unique Selling Proposition” (USP) as a service provider is quite exciting… until you actually try to create one. Technically speaking, creating a USP is actually pretty simple. Having that creation actually resonate with the marketplace, however, is much more difficult. Just because you’re the only photographer that takes wedding pictures while hopping on your left foot just isn’t going to bring the clients running now is it?

You can actually waste quite a bit of time and energy “uniquely positioning” your business in ways that no one (but you) actually cares about. It feels like you’re getting somewhere because you’re busy, but really, nothing is happening.

    The Magic of The Platform

Look around at just about anyone with influence and you’ll most likely find, not too far away, a Platform of sorts that is powering that force.

Oprah had her TV show. Rush Limbaugh has the radio show. You can think of countless examples.

A Platform, very simply, is some sort of vehicle that distributes specific value to a specific group of people, consistently, over time. A Platform might be as simple as an email newsletter, or a podcast, or a print newsletter, or even a video series.

Now if the word “Platform” is new to you, don’t worry. I didn’t make up the concept. No one in this century (or the last few) did. It’s been around forever.

Recovery Now with Kim Justus Later on the Eve of Miracles

    in Spirituality

Tonight's Episode of my regular Wednesday night show will start 30 minutes late. This happens to be the night our extended family has celebrated Christmas (dinnner & gift exchange at my folks), for all of my life. Things are already starting to change, and by next year will change dramatically. This year is not the one to rush through. This is one of those "savor the moments" times. I'm going to try my best to do that. If I make it home early, will start the show.

On Christmas Day it'll be the first holiday celebrated in our new home. A lot has changed in the last year. We don't entertain much, and haven't really at all at this new home; Unless you count work men! Now THOSE we've had plenty of!! Our new 4th Thurs hosts weren't up to starting on Christmas, so I'll be back hopefully with a few other hosts.

Recovery Now show is a gathering place for anyone seeking recovery from the challenges of life on life's terms. Guests introduce topics, and survivor's share their experience, strength and hope. We discuss useful tools that have helped us lighten the load, of our journey through recovery. More will be revealed! Tune in, stop in and call in. This is a "we" recovery program, because it is in the "we," that we find the new "me."

We focus on the four A's of Recovery...Awareness, Acceptance, Action and Adaptation. This is a place for survivor's striving to become thrivers. Featured guest in front half & second part of show is Open Mic and some great Indy Music sure to inspire!

Host is Kim Justus, author of In a Flash: Miracles Here and Beyond found at www.inaflash.org & "Like" at www.facebook.com/inaflash.org and of course you want to Like "Brain Injury Radio!"

    in Music

Stevie J. Bio. - Already hailed as the new face of the Delta Blues, Stevie J is well on his way to capturing the crown of Southern Soul as well.

His guitar skills are nothing short of spectacular. He is a supremely confident vocalist capable of wringing every nuance from any lyric from any genre. Yet Stevie J remains humble and true to his first love. THE BLUES

Stevie J, the son of pastor and native of Jackson, MS, started his career in the gospel field playing for artist such as the Williams Brothers, The Five Blind Boys of Alabama, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, The Jackson Southernaires and the great Shirley Caesar.

Stevie J found his true calling when he teamed up with legends such as Bobby Rush, Pat Brown, Denise LaSalle and Shirley Brown. Stevie J recorded with Bobby Rush on the Folk Funk album and is also featured with the Martin Scorsese blues series live at Ground Zero. Stevie J has toured throughout Switzerland and France performing at the Cognac Blues Festival. His talent has also taken him to Spain, Italy, Norway and Belgium.

Stevie J is a delight to the eyes and ears. He plays what he feels and has fun doing it. Right now Stevie is enjoying the success of his new album 2 Sides OF a Man with the single “Because Of Me”, which is #1 on the Southern Soul chart.

There can be little doubt that Stevie J  is the undisputed New Face of The Delta Blues (and goodwill ambassador of American Music), for as long as he lives.
