The Real Deal Bible Study~ With Host Minister Akaiha Final Min Louis Farrakhan

    in The Bible

Today we will be blessed by God and the Honorable Min. Louis Farrakhan on the Willie Lynch letter.

The Nation of Islam under the leadership of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is the catalyst for the growth and development of Islam in America. Founded in 1930 by Master Fard Muhammad and led to prominence from 1934 to 1975 by the Honorable Eiljah Munammad, the Nation of Islam continues to positively impact the quality of life in America.

Minister Louis Farrakhan, born on May 11, 1933 in Bronx, N.Y., was reared in a highly disciplined and spiritual household in Roxbury, Massachusetts. Raised by his mother, a native of St. Kitts, Louis and his brother Alvan learned early the value of work, responsibility and intellectual development. Having a strong sensitivity to the plight of Black people, his mother engaged her sons in conversations about the struggle for freedom, justice and equality. She also exposed them to progressive material such as the Crisis magazine, published by the NAACP.

Popularly known as “The Charmer,” he achieved fame in Boston as a vocalist, calypso singer, dancer and violinist. In February 1955, while visiting Chicago for a musical engagement, he was invited to attend the Nation of Islam’s Saviours’ Day convention.

The Real Deal Bible Study With Host Minister Akaiha Hon Min Louis Farrakhan

    in The Bible

    Privilege of Dying

Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. John 17:24

If I really believe what I believe as a follower of Jesus, it is much better to be on the other side of death—in person with Jesus. My body is a temporary home for my soul where I commune with Christ, but death releases me to be with Jesus and experience His perfect love and radiant glory. Dying is a divine privilege. Death is a portal to eternal life and dying facilitates a faithful life on earth.

Jesus prays to His heavenly Father on behalf of His followers. He prays for them to be with Him in heaven. It is a prayer of peace and security knowing to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8). Facing imminent death, Jesus prays for these dear ones to know the assurance of soon seeing their Savior face to face. Dying is not a lonesome final act for those who know Jesus, it is an encore into eternity. Jesus reassured His disciples by the promise of His presence. Yes, dying is a privilege for those privileged to be a child of God.

Is dying a far off event in your mind or is it up close and personal? In either case it’s vital to stay intimately familiar with your life in Christ. Your robust relationship with Jesus gives you courage to discuss death. A heart tender to the Lord prays for opportunities to have caring conversations with the dying. Funerals are not avoided but attended in order to honor the deceased and to be reminded of what’s really important in life. A soul satisfied by Christ is able to walk with Him through the valley of the shadow of death. Dying can be ugly, but beauty awaits Jesus believers.

Not So Mad Science #HaroldMuhammad 323.927.2913

    in Science

    Hosted By: Harold Muhammad

Harold, an eclectic and voracious reader, began his venture in the world of the written word as a child of 2 years.  Scraps of paper, candy wrappers, dictionary's right through the entire encyclopedia Britannica. Yet Harold was driven to books of the sciences. Physics, Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, he met them all with great wonder and fascination. He delved into each discipline as if his very life depended upon understanding its depth.

It was not until the words of The Hon. Elijah Muhammad that the essence and understanding of the sciences began to have true purpose and meaning. He said, "all there is to know is written in a book, read".

Harold began his collegiate pursuit at Hampton Institute; he then forayed to Fairleigh Dickenson University. At FDU the practice of the Social Sciences, public activism, and public speaking became a trusted part of mental fabric.

Harold is the husband to Celestine Muhammad, and the father of 10 extraordinary children, and 8 grandchildren. Harold has the benefit of having the most exceptional and wondrous teachers to whom he owes all that he has learned, will learn and knows to this very day, The Most  Hon. Elijah Muhammad, the Hon. Min. Louis Farrakhan, his Father Alfred Eatman, and his Grandfather  the Late Captain, Harold D. Hook.

Purposed 4 Godliness - The Average Pastor’s Achilles Heel

    in Christianity

What is the common thread that is the average pastor’s Achilles Heal? From Bill Easum – The average pastor tries to do too much because they lack focus on what it means to be a pastor. And the problem isn’t that there is too much to do. The problem is pastors don't know how to say “No.” Now there’s the word that all pastors need to learn how to say – “NO.”

Purposed 4 Godliness Host: Minister Daffany Smith, M.Div. "But have nothing to do with worldly fables fit only for old women. On the other hand, discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness" (1 Tim 4:7). "You Are Purposed 4 Godliness" this Empowering Blog Talk Radio Program is designed to bring Biblical insight to current issues; address your needs and plant the seed of Godly purpose.
