Blogtalk LPS Radio Network - Everyday Angels with Marie Elisa, Welcomes Mimi Hubbard , Intuitive Life Coach. As a young child she was able to sense and feel energies of those around her. She often knew what they were thinking before they said it, or when they withheld information. Her gifts were strong, but her understanding of them has been a lifelong discovery. She became a nurse because of her desire to help others. Her work brought her joy, but it did not fulfill her completely, something was missing. She wanted to be able to do more for a person before they became ill.
Mimi does not take a cookie cutter approach to her life coaching. She realizes every person and circumstance is unique even though they may share similar characteristics.
During the show Mimi will discuss her gift of being clairvoyant and take caller’s questions. Each caller may ask one question and receive a brief reading. She requests that your question be specific, not general. Her insights will give you greater understanding of your circumstance and the ability to move forward with increased confidence and clarity.

Mimi Jones was born in the Bronx to parents descended from Barbados and St.Croix, which explains why Mimi has so many musical influences that flow easily through her compositional style. As a child, her parents always played music around the house, besides their traditional roots they had tons of records from the jazz greats. Every Sunday, we cleaned the house, while the music blasted. Mimi showed such enthusiasm to play the guitar that her father enrolled her in the Harlem School of the Arts, where she learned the classical guitar and eventually the instrument of her choice, the electric guitar. By 12, she was studying guitar with Jim Bartow, along with classes in dance, chorus, drums, music theory, piano and composition. She attended Fiorello La Guardia High School of Music and Performing Arts, where she switched to cello in the orchestra, until the band director introduced her the bass. Mimi is a bassist, vocalist, and composer. Mimi studied classical bass with Linda McKnight and attended the Jazz Mobile Workshop study Lisle Atkinson who gave her the first bass, a Juzak. Mimi received a full scholarship to Manhattan School of Music Conservatory where she completed her B.A. in Music. While at the Manhattan School she attended workshops with saxophonist Charles Davis, Barry Harris, Ron Carter, Milt Hinton, Dr. Billy Taylor, Yusef Latif, Max Roach, and Latin bass techniques with Guillermo Edgehill.
