SPONSORED BY MARK PITTMAN--The military, aside from the obvious function it was created to do, once offered the additional bonus of taming an out-of-control person, especially a youth, helped build good character, sturcture, discipline etc. Being a soldier held a code of honor both behind the walls among the platoon members, as well as in the eyes of the grateful public. In earlier times, the protection of the military for its soldiers was also a very well-known factor. Today however, unspeakable military atrocities--inclusive of murder, rape, discrimination and even cover-ups of these horrors behind the high walls are on a massive level. More than ever, military recruiters are projecting the "happy family" image of miltary life to our youth. With what we know about today's drastic differences in the behavior and environment of our youth, is the military a viable option, or fuel to the fire? Join in tonight at 10:30 pm EST at 347-327-9967.
From tactics and strategies to studies and tools. This class will cover all aspects of firefighting in rural areas, small towns, and small suburbs. If you are on a department that provides coverage to these areas this shows for you. And if your an urbanite than this show will give you some insight to how things are done in small towns and rural areas.
SPONSORED BY MARK PITTMAN-We continue our discussion on whether the military is a solution or a destruction to the problems today's youth face. The lure of the youth in mass to the miltary starts with the military scouts' way into the minds of our children. How do the get there? By targeting their self-esteem issues via social, economic, educational and vanity avenues. Join in tonight to discuss how we can diffuse the power of negative self-esteem in our children as a weapon to the military Pied Pipers. Join in at 10;30 pm EST @347-327-9967.

Join us for an opportunity to see Afghanistan through the eyes of a professional photographer who was there and has now returned home.
Embedded photographer Robert Cunningham returned to Afghanistan to photograph history. He was the men of the 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army. The regiment saw substantial action in the European Theater of World War II. Since then, 502nd Infantry has served in the Vietnam War, the first Gulf War, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
The military ordered a strict limit on embedded photographers with only a handful of embeds, so it was a rare opportunity for him. Robert has been on the program in the past, talking about his experiences which he documented in a pictoral book "Afghanistan On The Bounce".
