In the second episode of my sometimes one-man podcast, I talk to you (and myself) about Mark Sanchez, Matt Leinart, Jeff Tuel, Mike Tyson. Plus I debut two new segments: Sick Cutz' and Headlines!
Tune in, tell a friend, and remember: These are "Not Sports For Work!" (which has always been the title of the show)
From the cruel, devouring streets of Brooklyn, Mike Tyson became the heavy weight champion of the world, but his life is far from ordinary.
Mike Tyson was abandoned by his father at the age of two; his mother and sister died while he was young. His four year old daughter died in 2009, and from his addiction to drugs and his stint in prison, he still manages to re-find himself and get back in the ring. From his days with gaurdian Cus D'amto, three marriages, to broadway...We are talking about Mike.

Former world heavyweight champ Mike Tyson had little faith that his one-man show, The Undisputed Truth, would get any further than he and wife Kiki Tyson’s kitchen table, let alone attract the directing talents of Spike Lee. “I didn’t believe we’d ever wind up on Broadway, but my wife did. She believed in her writing, she believed in her show. And what’s even more unbelievable is that we’re following up Broadway with a world tour,” he tells The Players Platform Show. “The whole production took us just six weeks after we decided to do the show—including building all the sets and me memorizing the whole script. We decided to do it after seeing Chaz Palmenteri’s one-man show, My Life in Song. Then a mutual friend of Spike Lee’s took it to him, and Spike took it to the Nederlanders, and they put it on Broadway.”
