Yeah, that's we said. Good ol' BM puts out this Sunday night, and probably to the chagrin of his girlfriend. What? We're not really sure what he'll put out yet, but we know he'll put out something, and you know Mad Mike will sitting off in the wings trying to reel BM back in to some semblance of reality. Now that the Democrats are out, we have a whole new set of politicians to beat up on, and God only knows what kind of stupidy will rumble out of DC now that the Republicans are in charge of Congress. We call ourselves Middle of the Road because we take no prisoners. Everyone, every single politician is fair game. Tune in Sunday night at 6 pm central time, and hear what these two misfits have to say about the state of the world, or the lack thereof. You never know, they might make you take a look at the world from a different perspective. And who knows, they might actually make you smile once or twice.
Mike with his wife, Amber and four daughters
Before answering Gods call on Michael’s life, he was hopelessly addicted to life destroying drugs for nearly a decade. After entering into a Christian Recovery Center, Michael encountered the powerful love of Jesus. All of his chains of addiction were finally broken. Following his completion of the program, God called Michael to school, where he met his wife Amber Thornton. In May of 2007, both Amber and Michael graduated from Heritage Bible College and continued to further their education at Regent University.
During this time, God began to stir in Michael’s heart the flames of revival. God quickly opened some amazing doors, and Michael was able to share his story amongst different denominations and races. His testimony was even featured on the 700 Club. Continuing to follow the call for a national and global spiritual awakening, the Lord led Michael to re-dig the ancient wells of revival in North Carolina. Fruit from this assignment has lead to his first book–Fire in the Carolinas: The Lasting Legacy of G.B. Cashwell and A.B. Crumpler. This work has also led to a great hunger and passion to see the Southern United States lead the nation in a global healing revival between the races and churches.
In May 2012, Michael received a Masters degree in Public Administration/Non-profit Organizations, and Amber received two Masters degrees: Practical Theology/Christian Counseling. In addition, God has blessed the Thornton’s with four beautiful girls: Jordan, Abigail, Briella, and Bethany.
Officer Rafael Ramos sat in the driver's seat. Officer Wenjian Liu was at his side. The two cops weren't at their usual precinct -- normally, the pair was assigned to downtown Brooklyn, but they were working a "critical response" detail in an area with higher crime, police said. That's where they were slain, ambush-style -- Saturday afternoon as they sat in their patrol car, New York Police Commissioner William Bratton said at an evening news conference. The gunman approached the passenger side of the patrol car and took a shooting stance, witnesses told police. He opened fire several times, striking both officers in the head, Bratton said.
They were "shot and killed with no warning, no provocation," Bratton told reporters. "They were quite simply, assassinated." The gunman was found dead in a nearby subway station from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. (above information and story courtesy of CNN)
