SORT BY Relevancy
On the eve of perhaps one of the most important Midterm elections since 1945, The GreenHouse FX Radio Show opens discussion on the importance (or non-importance) to vote on November 4th.
There are many opinions fuel by a lot of emotions... a way to poll the president’s first two years; an opportunity to tip the scales of balance to Congress; or, a chance to change "the norm" in Washington and bring in "some fresh blood." Whatever your take, the final vote will have a huge impact on the legislation that passes through Congress over the next 24 months, and no matter which way you lean, voicing your opinion is key or is it?
Your host, Will Green leaves the microphone open for YOU to voice your opinion. Also, did you early vote? If so, share your experience. Listen online at www.blogtalkradio.com/thegreenhousefx or on your phone: 818-691-7412, press "1" to voice your opinion.
Take care of each other.
I was honored to be featured on the Tim Danahey Show. We discussed the 2014 Midterm Election which was a mitigated disaster, a slaughter. Over the last few days Bill Maher spoke about the timidity of Democrats running away from the President. Jon Stewart had great skit about Democrats not running on the Democratic successes. Jimmy Williams spoke about the failure of Democrats to speak to dissected White Southerners.
We did not only discuss the pain caused by the results of the election. We discussed solutions. These solutions will be successful if we begin now. It will take a lot of work but it is essential in order to move forward.
Egberto Willies is a highly-respected national radio show host and political blogger with a constructive analysis of election results. One-sixth of all American eligible voters chose Republican candidates and the nation’s political landscape has changed. What can we now expect from Republicans? What do the Democrats need to do? Has the effect of money in politics completely changed governance in America? Most important: What must we the citizens do?
In this episode of Independence Nation, Keith A. Pitts, MSE will discuss senate predictions for this 2014 midterm election. He will also discuss how President Obama helped or hurt Democrat candidates. Half of Americans have an unfavorable impression of the president, with 44 percent viewing him favorably, according to a new ABC News/Washington Post poll. His unpopularity is even worse ? 53 percent ? among likely voters. Last November, Obama’s unfavorables hit a record-high 52 percent among Americans. And the six-point difference between those who see him favorably versus unfavorably is the worst the president has ever faced.
The interview starts at 26 Minutes 57 second mark
I was honored to be on KPFT Open Journal with KPFT General Manager Duane Bradley and Marlo Blue. Both were feeling the pain of the slaughter that Democrats and Progressives took in the 2014 Midterm election.
We discussed what happened here in Texas as well as throughout the country. We discussed possible solutions to get more progressives elected.
Democrats need to start acting like Democrats instead of attempting to be Republican lite. Citizens need to know who they are voting for. They need to know that there is a difference. Otherwise they feel there is no reason to spend the time to vote.
Over the last few days Bill Maher spoke about the timidity of Democrats running away from the President. Jon Stewart had great skit about Democrats not running on the Democratic successes. Jimmy Williams spoke about the failure of Democrats to speak to dissected White Southerners.
This week’??s show
Did the midterm election liberate President Obama?
November 15th, 2014
Democrats took a shellacking in the 2014 midterm elections. They did so even as they ran away from President Obama. It seems like it was a poor move. Why would you buy into a false narrative instead running on quantifiable accomplishments? Democrats deserved to lose. The President acquiesced to their requests for timid action, Republican lite action. Their questionable choice failed. Americans want a choice, Americans want options, real options. It seems that the President will use his last two years to do just that.
What are your thoughts? Let’s talk. I will also be following our hash-tag #PoliticsDoneRight on Twitter.

Is a Republican president a possibility for 2016? Matthew Parks talks about a republican renewal running on a platform of principled reform toward constitutional government. Could it really happen?
Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately?
There are always at least two sides to every story. Have you ever wondered how someone, who saw the same thing you did, walked away telling a vastly different story? Which version was correct? Which one was the REAL story? Actually, both are! It’s just a matter of perspective.
Joe takes the issues… especially the controversial issues (politics, prejudice, religion, illegal immigration)… and brings in people from different sides to share their viewpoint. This is definitely not a fluff piece. And while no one is attacked, the questions are hard-hitting.
But the conversation is always respectful and you’re sure to learn something new, even if you don’t agree!
If you’ve always wondered how the “other side” thinks and how they’ve arrived at their “stand”, then this is the show for you!
It’s not the right side, it’s not the wrong side, but the REAL side of the issues!
Michael Salamone and Rev. Quincy Worthington will be joined by political analyst, yogi and mom, Jenn Schuchman and teacher and political activist Chris Filson to discuss the results of the 2014 midterm elections after the results come in. Or as they are coming in. Or whatever is happening at the time, for 30 minutes.
