    Steve Ahnael Nobel: Personal Transitions

    in Spirituality

How can we come to better understand and integrate the dramatic transitions in our lives?  Steve Ahnael Nobel explores insights from his new book Personal Transitions: Beyond the Comfortable into the Real, a fusion of spirituality, myth, story, case studies, practical exercises, visualization and meditation.  The former director of Alternatives in London, a not-for-profit organization with a profoundly powerful impact that he led from 2000-2012, Steve currently coaches and mentors authors, as well as assisting people going through major transitions.  At Alternatives, Steve helped organize over 1300 events in the domains of contemporary spirituality and personal development.

Major transitions can include near death experiences, accidents, prison, war, psychological breakdown, and various forms of awakening.  When we follow our hearts and intuition and expand into new adventures, a major transition can result.  Alternatively, through experiencing times of great uncertainty, chaos and crisis, we can usher in a major transition.  Life may make little or no sense when life shifts, but we are invited to gain a new perspective and live from the heart instead od the head.  Transition is part of the growing up process and contains elements of soul and biology. We are here to grow physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. And within the greater context of global awakening, personal transitions are becoming increasingly more common.

    in Education

We are honored to reach the president of NAS , Mr. Allen Omoruyi Sonny.  He leads approximately 1000 Nigerians living in Japan.  When he was asked “Who is sponsoring the organization?” he answered “ourselves” candidly suggesting the hardship of living in Japan as Nigerians.  As an organization to support women and children in Nigeria, SWACIN is glad to know the Nigerian organization in Japan to say the least, as we have searched them throughout Japan past two years!  He has graduated from University of Bennin, Nigeria, earned BSC (Mathematics)  After working for Ministry of Education in Nigeria for years, he got married to a Japanese woman, and now runs personal computer sales business.  He says, his organization, “National Association of Seadogs (NAS) is a registered Nigerian charitable and humanitarian organization, founded by  a Nigerian playwright and poet, Wole Soyinka and six other students in 1952. Mr. Soyinka was awarded the 1986 Nobel Prize in Literature, the first African to be honored.  It began as a University Campus group but has grown into an international organization with branches in 36 states of Nigeria overseas including Japan, South Africa, UK, Republic of Ireland, USA, The Netherland and Canada. O Ye Drybones HEALTHCARE AWARENESS w/ Bro.Tony & Sista Akila

    in Current Events

Why do we get sick? And..Why are people dying of heart disease and cancer in larger numbers today then in 1900's?It's been known since 1920 that the prime cause of cancer was determined by Nobel Prize Winner in Medicine Dr. Otto Warburg. It has to do with cellular oxygen. He wrote about it in a research articled called "The Metabolism of Tumours" in Germany.  He has taught many how to stop cancer in its growth, even if it's at an advanced stage. For Beyond 50's “Natural Healing” talks, listen to an interview with Professor Brian Peskin about advancing the studies of Dr. Warburg. It's also noticeable how heart disease and cancer have surged to become two of America's top killers. In 1900, cancer and heart disease accounted for 18 percent of all deaths. Today, that figure's jumped to 63 percent. In addition to being responsible for a greater share of deaths overall, the absolute number of people being killed by these chronic conditions has also grown, from 201 people out of every 100,000 in 1900 to nearly 380 per 100,000 today.

Even in the 1950`s people whispered the word `cancer` and waited for the people involved to die. It wasn`t discussed openly like now.
It seems like there is more people who have cancer today. Is this true? How come we don't hear much about cancer before the 1900's?

Perhaps in 1993, when all the preventable diseases have been eradicated, when the nature and cure of cancer have been discovered, and when eugenics has superseded evolution in the elimination of the unfit, our successors will look back with an even greater measure of superiority. Some Scientists suggest that cancer is purely man-made, Cancer is a modern, man-made disease caused by environmental factors such as pollution and diet, a study by scientists has strongly suggested.evidence, proves that cancer was extremely rare in antiquity.
