In a salute to our Veterans, lead singer, Dave Bray, of Madison Rising joins me to discuss his military career as a Navy Corpsman, and his music career. Assignment tells the stories of America, from history, military, politics, social and economic, to entertainment - the things you never thought about to the trivia you never knew.
Join us on the broadcast as we enter into a higher dimension of prayer, worship, and glorifying God through Mid-Day Supplication. It's exciting every time we come together in faith to lift up the name of Jesus. Jesus is the source of our strength, and we look to Him to supply all of our spiritual need. God is filling us with His goodness of mercy and grace. Be apart of this Mid-Day Supplication to receive your portion from the LORD.

Greatly expanded government spending for every conceivable...2. Higher and then much higher taxes.3. An increasingly unbalanced budget despite the higher taxes.4. Wild inflation of our currency.5. Government controls of prices, wages and materials supposedly to combat inflation.6. Greatly increased socialistic controls over every operation of our economy and every activity of our daily lives.7. Far more centralization of power in Washington and the practical elimination of our state lines.8. The steady advance of federal aid to and control over our educational system leading to complete federalization of our public education.9. A constant hammering into the American consciousness of the horror of modern warfare.10. The constant willingness of the American people to allow the steps of appeasement by our government that amount to a piece meal surrender of the rest of the free world and the United States itself.
As America enters its week of remembering the service of our veterans, it is worth remembering that not all veterans wore uniforms when they served the nation. One such example are the field operations personnel of the Central Intelligence Agency, whose very existence and service is denied as a matter of routine. In spite of the discretionary nature of their service however, these clandestine warriors have taken America and its military everywhere and has gone since 9/11, and are worth remembering as we approach Veterans Day.
To learn more about the warriors of CIA's Clandestine Service, join military historian, author and journalist John D. Gresham for Military Monday at 1 p.m. EST. His guests this week will be Gary Berntsen, a legendary CIA field operator and counterterrorism expert. Author of the book JAWBREAKER, Bernsten will be talking about his military and CIA service, along with his work in politics and Veterans Affairs since his retirement. Listeners are encouraged to call in and ask questions and offer opinions, should they desire.
Sharon McRill, Owner of the Betty Brigade will be talking with public speaking expert Eleni Kelakos about how to structure and organize a successful presentation.
