The @a2iwheels/www.a2iwheelandtire.com guestline presents MLive.com's Kyle Austin, who joins Sports in the Mitten to discuss Michigan State basketball.
The Spartans are in the mix for a couple of transfers, and SITM asks Austin about the possibilities of landing one or both. Also, we'll talk about Byrd's transfer and what that means for Izzo.
Hosts Adam Biggers and John Gustin also hit on the Tigers, Michigan football recruiting, the NBA Playoffs and more.

The Michigan State Spartans square off with the Duke Blue Devils in the Men's Basketball Final Four National Semifinals. If they win, will they take on the Kentucky Wildcats or the Wisconsin Badgers?
The Red Wings take on the Minnesota Wild in St. Paul and try to get back to their winning ways and get two important points in the Atlantic Division. I'll also preview their Easter Sunday game with the Washington Capitals at Joe Louis Arena, which starts at 5.
The Tigers wrap up Spring Training Grapefruit League play in St. Petersburg with the Tampa Bay Rays. They have Easter Sunday off before Opening Day in Detroit Monday against the Minnesota Twins. Twins starting pitcher Ervin Santana was suspended 80 games for use of Stanozolol.
The Pistons return home to the Palace of Auburn Hills and play the Miami Heat.
The Pistons take on the Chicago Bulls at United Center.
The Tigers play their last preseason home game of 2015 at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland, Florida, against the Tampa Bay Rays.
The Red Wings (at least should) get Pavel Datsyuk back when they travel to St. Paul, Minnesota, and take on the Wild. They were tied with the Boston Bruins with 93 points after blowing a 2-0 lead and losing in regulation. I still think the Wings will lose in regulation again.
The Michigan State Spartans get set to take on the Duke Blue Devils in the Final Four National Men's Basketball Semifinal game tomorrow at 6:09 on TBS.

The Red Wings are still hanging on to that 3rd place spot in the Atlantic Division after beating the St. Louis Blues in overtime 2-1 at Joe Louis Arena. Plus why AHL teams should not play 3 consecutive games.
I'll also tell you why the Pistons don't need a lottery draft pick.
The Michigan State Spartans may make a long run, but can they go all the way?
The Central Michigan Chippewas deserved to have an NCAA Tournament berth, but then again they didn't earn it.
Tigers Spring Training: Victor Martinez and Miguel Cabrera made their debut by surprise. V-Mart went hitless, and Miggy went 1 for 3. They're only getting warmed up.
BangTheBook writer Adam Burke is joined by Expert Handicapper Kyle Hunter to go in-depth on the two Final Four matchups and project lines for the NCAA Tournament Championship Game. The Kentucky Wildcats face the Wisconsin Badgers and the Duke Blue Devils take on the Michigan State Spartans in the Final Four from Indianapolis on Saturday. Adam and Kyle will break down every angle on each game and look ahead to the national championship game on April 6. This is your home for college basketball betting odds and picks against the spread.

Did the Red Wings make a trade for a defenseman in time at the trade deadline after getting Erik Cole? And how did they fare against the New York Rangers, Calgary Flames, and Boston Bruins?
Can the Pistons get out of their slump and show everyone what they're made of when they play the New Orleans Pelicans, Houston Rockets, and Charlotte Hornets?
The Michigan State Spartans, Michigan Wolverines, and Central Michigan Chippewas all finish their 2014-2015 Division I Men's Basketball regular season.
Detroit Tigers 2015 Spring Training updates.
The Lions lose Ndamukong Suh to the Dolphins, but they also sign 5 players.
Defenseman Marek Zidlicky and left-winger Erik Cole still prove the Wings made two good trades, but some of their other defensemen are a group of slouches, which is a reason why the Wings may look at another first-round exit from the Stanley Cup Playoffs. I break down what they need to do in the offseason ahead of time. Center Darren Helm is also needed back, and so is defenseman Alexey Marchenko.
Are the Pistons tanking again with their long losing streak? Is Brandon Jennings's season-ending injury really the excuse? What do they need to do? My own blog will explain it to you.
The Michigan Wolverines bow out early and hope for an NIT Tournament berth, while the NCAA Tournament-bound Michigan State Spartans still play in the Big Ten Tournament, and the Central Michigan Chippewas, Western Michigan Broncos, and Eastern Michigan Eagles hoop it up for the MAC Tournament Championship.
The Lions sign two defensive tackles, Haloti Ngata and Tyrunn Walker. Plus, they are the 5th worst in trade value and are the only NFL team to lose money last year. General manager Martin Mayhew and President of Football Operations Tom Lewand ignore the media as well.
The Tigers are piling up a list of players having sore muscles game by game, while newcoming center-fielder Anthony Gose is still flashing his new swing and his red hot batting stats this Spring Training preseason.
In this episode of The Red Light Sports Ramble, presented by The Red Light Sports Network, Evan Witalison and Troy Otradovec will recap all of the Elite 8 games. Four teams were cutting down nets, as they won they region: Wisconsin Badgers, Kentucky Wildcats, Michigan State Spartans, and the Duke Blue Devils.
Wisconsin struggled shooting, once again, in the first half. The second half was a different story, as it seemed, the Badgers could not miss from behind the arc. Arizona stayed in this game by getting to the foul line; 30 times, and out rebounding the Badgers by one. Sam Dekker iced the game, with a high arching three pointer with 20 seconds left, making the score 84-76.
Kentucky remained perfect, only after Andrew Harrison made two free throws, with 6 seonds left. Jerian Grant missed a three pointer from the corner, as time expired. In a back and forth game, Kentucky outlasted the Irish, 68-66.
Tom Izzo is going back to the Final Four, for the seventh time. Louisville and Michigan State gave the fans, an extra five minutes, of basketball. As the media talked to Travis Trice, Denzel Valentine, and Brandon Dawson, without sharp shooter Bryn Forbes, the Spartans may have been watching the Final Four, from Lansing, MI. Forbes made 4 or 6 three pointers and finished with 14 points.
All-American Jahill Okafor was held to 9 points, on 4 of 10 shooting. However, the other four starters all scored, in double digits. Led by Justise Winslow and Matt Jones, with 16. Like Forbes, the Blue Devils should be putting the microphone, in Jones corner. He buried 4 of 7 three pointers, and the Blue Devils took control of this game late, and never looked back.

Did the Red Wings improve in terms of "taking care of the puck" when they played the Montreal Canadiens? Plus, they needed to keep doing so against the Chicago Blackhawks and Dallas Stars both on the road to start a 6-game road trip.
The Pistons continue their 5-game homestand with the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards and finish it with the Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks before visiting the Wizards.
The Michigan State Spartans and Michigan Wolverines clash, while the Central Michigan Chippewas look to keep their winning streak alive down the stretch in their 2014-2015 regular season.
#171: Rhonda Revelle, Head Coach, Nebraska Softball, joins the show to discuss the current state of Huskers Softball and breakdown the upcoming series (3/20-3/22) against the Spartans of Michigan State. Sophmore, RHP/UT, Cassie McClure, a transfer from Texas Tech has been the heart and soul for the Huskers this season. For Michigan State, SR, OF, Alyssa McBride, has really carried the Spartans offensively. Nebraska Softball , Facebook , Twitter
