We are taught that to change our lives, "it's simple" all we have to do is change our minds. But is changing our minds actually simpe to do? Host Rev. Michelle Rado, used a quote from Master Song Writer/Composer Stephen Songheim's "Anyone Can Whistle" as the basis for this discussion as she takes a "deep dive" into the many elements of our thoughts during the every day circumstance of waking up in a rotten mood, horrified at the prospect of all that you have to squeeze into a single day just to get by, and shares three steps that we can all use to help us through these difficult moments as we learn how to change our minds about any given situation.
Heart Dancing: A Story Alchemy Adventure by Kathy Eriksen
Kathryn Eriksen is the author of "Heart Dancing: A Story Alchemy Adventure" a work of fiction about a troubled family who walks through the fires of anger, hate and rage to discover a new way of seeing each other, themselves and their past. Embedded in the story are tools and techniques on how to become a deliberate creator, instead of an unconscious reactor to outside events.
She created Story Alchemy after analyzing how she changed stories from her own past. It is a simple but profound evolutionary process that dissolves the past and clears your perspective of the present moment.
Anyone struggling to make sense of their life, anyone who wonders how they got off track or anyone tired of feeling sad, lonely or frustrated will discover or recognize something in this book and our interview that help them on their journey. "Heart Dancing" demonstrates how to change your life, one step at a time.

She will be discussing her son Joseph's life story, playing sports, CTE which led to years of depression and ultimately, his suicide. Joseph's brother Seth will join us, since they played sports all through their childhood together. She has tried to contact politicians, White House and Michelle Obama, with no one concerned or responding to her. She also wants to shed light on the responsibility of the NFL with the research started 20 years ago, to warn all parents of the dangers of concussions/head trauma and future effects, which the NFL denied for many years.
