"After 20 years as a management consultant, I am now focussed on helping businesses and individuals transform performance using tools, coaching and mentoring. Finding creative solutions to everyday business issues". Personal maxim "success is often just about joining up the dots".
Michael will be talking about his latest project, which is called "me2.0". It is designed to give help and direction to people (specifically over 50s) who have lost their jobs and want to create themselves anew. Michael says:
"people in the 50+ age group have a wealth of experience, which if not used, is lost, often forever. They suffer major long term unemployment, and many never find another job. So we are giving them new hope and a new purpose. Having established their real essence, we create their "spirit ladder". When all the pieces are in place we can then assist them in rebranding themselves".
Author Christine Walters joins us in another episode of La Femme de Prose. Sharing her story of abuse, struggle and survival, her book Ginny and Me: Reflections of What God Can Do aims to bring awareness to the different things Christine experienced. Mixed heritage, childhood abuse and dealing with the mental illness of a loved one are all contained in her book as she shares the pain of her struggles and testifies of her victory through God. With a background in human services management, Christine seeks to bring light to the darkness that is consuming many as they struggle with mental health and family dysfunction. The album reunites Lington with producer by Barry Eastmond and features all originals with the exception of one cover, the chart-topping soul anthem, “Soul Finger.” In preparing for this album, Lington immersed himself in the classic Memphis sessions and even journeyed to the STAX museum While most of the album was recorded at the famed Sunset Sound in Los Angeles, he also recorded at the legendary Royal Studios in Memphis, which has churned out sessions for everyone from Al Green, Chuck Berry and Buddy Guy to Ike and Tina Turner, Solomon Burke, Otis Rush and Bobby ‘Blue’ Bland.
SECOND NATURE unites a who’s who list in music that transcends genre and musical boundaries, including GRAMMY® Lifetime Achievement Award recipient and venerable bluesman Booker T.
