I will be discussing Michael Sam becoming the first openly gay athlete to be drafted in the NFL Draft with 49ers fan/'Bama fanatic Sedrick Hall. Among the topics: did Sam get drafted because of the positive PR ramifications? Did he fall in the draft because of his sexuality? Is the media - namely ESPN - beating the hell out of this dead horse? Also, is Oprah Winfrey-created OWN's documentary on Sam be a huge distraction?
-Tonight we will discuss the recent between CNN's Anderson Cooper and Donald Sterling, as Sterling bashes NBA great Magic Johnson.
Coooper also conducted an interview the next night with Magic Johnson, as Magic voiced his opinion of Sterling.

Plus, our article about size in the locker room - 'cockocracy,' as the writer put it - got a lot of attention and readers. Some people seemed surprised to find out that straight guys measure themselves up too
The talk of the sports world is the controversial televised kiss on the lips delivered by Michael Sam after he found out the news that he was drafted by the St. Louis Rams.
ESPN caught the moment as he celebrated with his family and friends which included his boyfriend.
The blogs, the internet message boards and social media blew up after ESPN continually ran the clip of them kissing and caused quite a stir in the conversations of most who witnessed it.
Madamwhipass & LanceScurv once again go in on yet another hard to hold topic in the brutally honest manner for which they are known for.

After a long hiatus, Sports In the Spirit returns for a brief installment, as we look at some of the major happenings in the sports world from a Biblical perspective.
We will discuss Missouri defensive Michael Sam announcing that he is gay, along with Texas Tech superfan Jeff Orr, after he was pushed my Oklahoma State's Marcus Smart.
We trace the cause of the incident between Smart and Orr, all the way back to the Bible, which will lend some insight into how this all happened.
I also have a personal comment or two about the secular sports media. Sports In the Spirit is an original program of the King James Radio Network.
