Music is life to Michael Annotti, he is a singer, player of instruments and writer of his own destiny. Life didn't start out musical for Michael as a child but after going through some significant life changing experiences he received his vision that he was to become a voice for people who have no voice and bring more love into the world with songs that are intended to heal the listener and strengthen the soul. Many have doubted Michael's ability to succeed in the competitive music industry, he is not from a musical family background, he started his solo career in 2000 and currently performs in the Monterey/Salinas/Santa Cruz area of California, as well as touring in the summer. Before moving forward as a solo artist Michael performed as a background singer various many Bay Area bands, Annotti Music self publishes and distributes all of Michael Annotti's projects, and he believes firmly in keeping ownership and control over his music, creativity and destiny, he feels with focus, positive attitude and action people can achieve their goals in life, no matter how impossible they may seem to others, and he is living proof it is true. A solo album in coming later in 2011, currently Michael Annotti Ep is available directly from Annotti Music, this cd has 8 songs that will be on the full album to give fans and new listeners a feeling of what is coming up later this year.
Michael Annotti creates soulful music that transcends mere show business and becomes something akin to food for life itself. Coming into the country side of the Central Coast of California, he has taken his musical inspiration coast to coast, and is currently awaiting the release of this debut solar project with producer Jim Salamone of Onaje Music in Philadelphia.
In the past year Michael has opened for Jimmy Cliff, Don Carlos, Mikey Dread, Midnite and Prezident Brown and performed many shows around the Bay area. His upcoming project will take you away from the world of stress and war that we all live in, and ease your soul for a while. His style is diverse and unpredictable with influences like Ray Charles, Otis Redding, Joe Higgs, Bob Marley & The Wailers, Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, Prince, Luther Vandross, Marvin Gaye, Billy Joel, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Bob Dylan, Tracy Chapman and many more who came before him to spark his love for music, and a message of hope.
Some of Philadelphia's finest players are backing Michael up on his upcoming CD, that have worked with Philadelphia recording artists such as Grover Washington Jr., Teddy Pendegrass and Patti Labelle, supporting his simple soulful song writing that can be enjoyed by everyone.
Michael will be doing live performances on college radio and venues around the country this Spring and Summer, you can stay connected to all the latest updates and information via www.michaelannotti.com with all the new hottest releases featured...

Michael is the chair of Trustees of the charity ElectroSensitivity UK (aka ES-UK).
In 2006 WiFi was installed in his workplace and he immediately became ill with the typical symptoms caused by this electro-magnetic radiation, such as headaches, pains in limbs, heart palpitations and nausea. His employers removed the WiFi from his workplace but since then he has become allergic to other devices with similar radiation, such as mobile phones, cordless phones, mobile phone masts and even compact fluorescent lights.
The charity ES-UK aims to help the growing number of people made ill by this environmental toxin and to inform the general public about its dangers.

Now more than ever, America needs more open and inclusive conversations about the stereotypes on police protection, police brutality, crime, civil liberties, public safety, and social justice in the context of race.
After many years of dissecting the driving factors on the issue of fragmentation and cohesion in American society, many of the same tragedies of error we've seen for years on race controversies continues to pervades the society. Race discussions, debate on race, or even race analysis are the so called inequality taboo topic of conversation in America. Silence on the issue of race only increases suspicions and erratic responses.
We are indeed in a delicate time.
In any democracy, the government belongs to the people, and the police, which exist within the executive branch – enforcing the law, essentially serve as a buffer of balance between individuals and between people -- maintaining law, order, safety and most importantly peace. If a police error results in a tragedy, the police should be the first to demonstrate contrition, not defense of erratic positions. Otherwise, the society is at risk of an increasing political totalitarianism. It is unimaginable for any cultural group to live inequitably compared to the rest of its pairs in the same country, especially one that promises individualism, equal rights before the law, and the four freedoms. And just as one group should not be a burden to another, so should none be sustained at the expense of the other.

In our last episode, we took one more look -- hopefully our last -- at a Gulf of Mistrust between some law enforcers and citizens of color we had hoped justice would serve equally. We learned of a community of believers to include 2.1 billion Christians who could touch and agree that #BlackLivesMatter. We witnessed evidence of endless possibilities for peace on Earth as the U. S. President found faith and favor enough to make business as usual a practice of the past.
HASHTAG #MY BROTHER’S KEEPER is the shortest distance between a divisive past and an inclusive vision of America’s Future. The question is how much do we want peace, justice and liberty, and how much are we willing to pay to secure it
