On this episode of The VDown, we welcome DDP Yoga Warrior and success story, Rev Kev, Kevin Tankersley! At 22 years old and at 305 pounds, Kevin was experiencing health problems. Bad knees, shortness of breath and chest pains were starting to own his life. Kevin knew that if he was going to have a life with his fiancee and his family, a change was needed. Kevin looked to his faith in God to help him find an answer.
In 2010 he found his answer. At a wrestling convention in the ATL, Kevin met DDP and saw Arthur's video, but it was winning an autographed DDP action figure that read " Do your YRG (DDP YOGA) or else!" that was his sign from God that he had been looking for. After 4 months of DDP Yoga, Kevin lost 107 lbs! As life does sometimes, it got in the way and Kevin did gain much of his weight back.
Kevin is now on the comeback trail of owning his life again and owning DDP Yoga and is now back to fitting into a size medium shirt! So tune on Tuesday, March 31st at 5 pm CT/ 6 pm ET and listen to Kevin's story of owning life, falling off and coming back with a vengence and about the value of never giving up on your dreams or yourself. A Paid internship that pays a young person to earn a good wage. This is a Department of Labor funded program. We are looking for motivated young folks between the ages of 17 - 24 who have no adult convictions, who are now or have once been on probation. It is not necessary to be on Probation now nor does it prevent you from being in the program if you are.
Leaders of Change in Collaboration with the Southeast Memorial Page would like to extend our condolences to all the families who suffered these past days. Our prayers are with you and the memories of your lost loved ones will remain in our hearts forever.
In this episode of The Red Light Sports Ramble, presented by The Red Light Sports Network, Evan Witalison and Troy Otradovec spend some time talking NFL football. The heavy rush of free agency has come and gone, but teams are still signing players. The Green Bay Packers added some depth at defensive line, resigning B.J. Raji and Letroy Guion.
Raji missed all of the 2014 season, with a torn biceps injury. Guion had a solid year, and may have exceeded expectations. However, he some off the field issues, in the off season. Those charges were dismissed, and the Packers are willing to give him another chance. Both players signed one year contracts. Raji will make $3.5 million, while Guion receives $2.75 million. With incentives Raji could make up to $4 million with incentives. Guion could make $3.25 million, if he meets all of the incentives. Do you think that Packers made a good choice, with these signings? Listen in and call the show with your thoughts.

The Chicago Cubs announced yesterday that they sent 3 of their young prospects to the minors. Team President Theo Epstein explained his reasons for doing so, but assured media and fans that all 3 players will have big roles for the Cubs moving forward. We're down to four teams in the NCAA Tournament, and three #1 seeds have made it through. Tonight I'll give my preview of one of the two matchups: Kentucky vs. Wisconsin in a rematch of last year's semifinal round. The Blackhawks got much needed wins on back to back nights against two Western Conference contenders, and things are getting very tight in the standings with 6 games left in the regular season. The Bulls, meanwhile, had a solid wire-to-wire victory over the lowly New York Knicks on Saturday, and have won 5 of 6. With the team in solid form, Derrick Rose has rejoined the team in full-contact practices, though Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau is still not committing to a specific return date. All this and your phone calls at (347) 327-9183!

If you are tired of living your life dictated by your primitive survival or lower brain, the one that keeps you in the grip of stress, fear, anxiety, reactive impulse, addiction, frustration and resistance to change, then you shouldn’t miss this timely interview!
Zach Polsfuss shares with us how life can be far better … when you’re able to live from your largely untapped higher brain: the creative, expansive, confident, connected, intellectually stimulated, healthy, problem-solving and change-adapting part of your physiology? Wouldn’t life be far better? And can’t we do more?
This new breakthrough simply releases a surge of energy into your largely untapped higher brain. It breaks the hold that the survival brain has on us – the destructive patterns that keep us mired in our stress-driven, often addictive lives – and shifts the operational mode to the higher brain. It’s like going from low gear to high. The process is called Higher Brain Living®(HBL) and it is being introduced to individuals by trained facilitators globally. And the San Francisco Bay Area is about to get a first-hand look at this healthcare revolution on April 27.
