We discuss the revelation by Carl Gallup, the author of "The Rabbi Who Found Messiah," that the Jews very much anticipate two messiahs. Messiah Ben Joseph, who comes before Messiah Ben David, to prepare the way for him.
We discussed aspects of the two messiahs in no less than ten or so past episodes, beginning with this one:
Zion is Redeemed, but Joseph is Marred
Last episode, we discussed the problematic interpretation of the parable of the Olive Tree Vineyard, offered by Sidney Sperry and still deferred to in the Church Education System.
This parable is meant to show the will of the Lord, concerning what is called the redemption of Zion, and it presages "a great evil" befalling the Lord's vineyard and his servants.
However, in the parable, the Lord sends one of his servants, later identified as Joseph Smith, the prophet, to gather the strength of his house and lead them in a military march to redeem Zion.
This presents no problem, if the application of the parable was to be understood in the early days of the Church, because Joseph Smith did gather the saints and march to the land of Zion, although the results were far from what was expected, given the parable.
The only other possible application of the parable is that it has not yet been fulfilled, and, if that is the case, and Joseph Smith is to lead "the army of the Lord" to redeem Zion, then he must do so as a resurrected being.
Today, we begin the discussion of this startling, but inspiring, possibility, from the holy scriptures.
I have been feeling that I should tell a little of my story about who I am and of some of my experiences. Today I was pulled over by a DOT offficer named Officer Bacon. We talked for a bit and he told me he would listen to my show, So I decided to Dedicate this show to him and tell him who I am and why I say what I say. I hope that the spirit will testify as to what I say to all who listen. I Pray Gods Blessing upon you all, In the Name of Messiah, Amen.

Gospel of Matthew 5: 1 Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2 and he began to teach them.3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
