Cruz Inc Radio Presents Mckenzie Diamond

    in Entertainment

Mckenzie has a style like no other in the local music business as she belts out her sultry eclectic mix of ballads and neo soul. Mckenzie often mixes the two with ease in a rare, energetic and entertaining way that fuses the two genres of old school soul with new school flare. Her musical taste spans more than a generation and reads like a who's who in the music industry. She list some of her major influences with such legendary names like Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Jackie Wilson, Whitney Houston, and of course " The King of Pop" Michael Jackson.

Mckenzie is certainly a diamond in the rough but she is quickly becoming a polished jewel as she continues to perfect her craft. If you ever have the opportunity to see her perform don't pass up on the chance as it will certainly be well worth your while and not easily forgotten. Mckenzie is truly a jewel of the Caribbean and will shine bright like a diamond, for a long time to come.

What they don't tell you about a broken heart!

    in Current Events

Whitney Houston's song asked the question where do broken hearts go? I have asked myself this same question. When your heart has been broken and you choose after careful consideration to discuss you get met with: Wait on the Lord, there is somebody for everybody, keep yourself busy and work on you. While this all sounds good during time the tears don't seem like they will ever stop and your heart feel like it is going to bust. What do you do? I am speaking as a person who is living this right now. I have already said that I am giving myself the year off from relationshiships. Mary J Blige's Whole Damn Year pretty much sums it up best. While looking at others in happy healthy relationships do I want that? The answer is sometimes but I am not willing to compromise myself and I am not willing to find someone and lose me. When you have been lied to and deceived it changes you and sometimes not for the best. After being played I extended the olive branch during the holidays to only want to beat him with it. This was not for reconciliation but for closure. So now I have to be cool with the apology I may not ever get or the goodbye that is not going to come. So I ask again where to broken hearts go and I say that they just go..no rhyme or reason just gone.....

KTL RADIO presents THE SYSTEM OF RACISM ft Dr Frances Cress-Welsing

    in News

Join Know The Ledge Radio as we welcome the Mighty Matriarch for the first time, Dr. Frances Cress Welsing!

As a renowned psychiatrist specializing in the root cause of extreme racism against the Afrikan people of the world, Cress postulates in the "Cress Theory of Color Confrontation" that white supremacy is due in fact to the numerical inadequacy and genetic deficiency of the caucasian race. For over 50 years Dr. Welsing has contributed to the justice of melanated individuals authoring The Isis Papers; The Keys To The Colors.

In her initial appearance with us she will prepare us for her powerful lecture for the Sunposium series at Ta-Merry Temple with a presentation entitled The System of Racism (White Supremacy) And A Scientific Black Agenda. In this groundbreaking discussion she will explore the movements necessary for Afrikans to embrace the innate genetic superiority we possess thus removing the restraints and dependence of the current structure.

The age old tradition continues, as the elder brings forth the word. May you see the value in this divine opportunity and be ready to receive.
