Celebrity Link- The Unbridle Jamaican Reggae Icon Nicky Thomas.Nicky Thomas (born Cecil Nicholas Thomas, 30 May 1949 – 1990) was a reggae singer who enjoyed considerable chart success in Jamaica and in the United Kingdom at the start of the 1970s.Nicky Thomas was born Fruitful Vale, Portland, Jamaica. He began work as a labourer in Kingston where he worked alongside future members of the The Gladiators. His opportunity to cuts some records came when former Jiving Junior and producer Derrick Harriott wrote and produced Run Mr Nigel Run for Thomas. A huge Jamaican hit the song led to him being known as Mr Nigel for a time. He was also successful with Come Home a song from the same session. This was followed by a successful association with producer Joel Gibson better known as Joe Gibbs for whom Thomas recorded the plaintive Running Alone and Lonesome Road issued as by Cecil Thomas, as well as a version of Let It Be credited to Nicky Thomas.Thomas' collaboration with Gibbs resulted in a number of hits including Don't Touch Me, Mama's Song and God Bless The Children.Thomas and Gibbs also covered a number of well regarded R&B hits that included Tyrone Davis' Turn Back The Hands of Time and (Baby) Can I Change Your Mind and Tony Joe White's Rainy Night in Georgia. He topped the Jamaican charts in 1970 with Have A Little Faith, a record that reputedly sold 50,000 copies on its release in the UK. It failed to chart in the UK because the sales were largely through specialist music shops and not statistically counted by the official chart compilers.www.caribbeanradioshow.con www.crsradio.com 661-467-2407

What are these guys going to do today? January 30 2015? The world has seen almost a full month of this two thousand fifteen year, with eleven more months to go for a lot of us, but some, you'll see. And you haven't heard all of what KINGS IN THE MORNING can do (FOR YOU). We've got it all - some music, lots of talk on everything, and we don't always agree with each other, giving you a great contrast and connection. You may want to connect to DLW, Darkwing (Darryl L Williams) or you may relate strongly with JGC-Davis (johnny davis - the GC stands for Graham Cracker) you may side with Jay King the master of the mute, and isn't MUTING a lot better than cold-cocking a guy? You could identify with Robert Redwine....but then again - MAYBE NOT. Ha ha ha ha, sorry, I had to toss that in there like a coin - 347-205-9366 - come on in, the water is fine!
Then immediately after KINGS IN THE MORNING comes Tony Brown from Detroit. Tony B from the D. He's got a mixture on this and that, and he wants to SERVE YOU WELL AND GOOD and he does. 347-205-9366 on this FRIDAY, baby!!!! We are here and doing it BIG STYLE

THE STORY: 2001, B.O. (Before Obama) The Davis family meets for what should be a text-book Christmas holiday season in their native Tulsa, OK. But when Lois insists the family join a class action law suit for reparations, old family wounds are ripped open and we discover that the government isn't the only one being asked to apologize.
The life coach, John Davis Marshall, along with other spiritual minded people of God, discuss how God seeks to lead women to do wondrously well. Individuals and groups have their views of family. Most often, the view is a “law” view. Even, the most conscientious compassionate ones host a law view of family. God has a view. Always, His view is a “grace” view. And as always, His view is the best view. Join with us in a discussion forum of life-enriching topics that will help us to do wondrously well according to a grace view. Indeed it is true, a better you begins with a grace view of God!
