International Sunday School on Malachi 3:1-10 wk 08-30-15 by Grover Weaver

    in Christianity

Hello everybody welcome to the Sunday School Class on the web. This is the Grover Weaver Ministries Weekly Commentary on the International Sunday School Lesson from Malachi 3:1-10. I am Grover Weaver your minister and sunday school teacher I greet you in Christ’s name. Glory be to God.

Malachi 3:1-10 is God’s Change Agent. The change agent is a game changer. Someone who enters the game in the  closing minutes...

The 1st part of V1 is quoted of John the Baptist but the next words, ‘’the Lord whom ye seek,’’ is not mentioned anywhere else in the NT..

V2 ask the question, ‘’who will abide his coming?’’ will you have fruits worthy of repentance?...

V3 is the personification of John’s ministry in Matthew 3: v11 ‘’I, indeed, baptize you with water unto repentance, but he who cometh after me is mightier than I...

V4 is a longing for the relationship God had with his people in the past...

V5 begin, ‘’I will come...in judgement...I will be swift…’’; is the last promise and the last prayer and the last provision in the Church Age

V6 is God confirming a promised to show mercy to Jacob's Children.

V7’s scolds the Jews slack behavior for not keeping His ordinances from the days of their fathers...

V8, ‘’Will a man rob God?”

V9 announces a curse of curses being placed upon the person and a nation who rob God

V10 you and I are here on earth, God is in heaven, his storehouse is in heaven...

Friends and Family Online Bible Study

    in Religion

What a great time we are having with our weekly online bible study.  This week we will be starting with the 6th Chapter of the Book of Mark.  The study will start 7 PM CST.  God bless!

Mark 6:1 And he went out from thence, and came into his own country; and his disciples follow him.

2 And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?

3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.

4 But Jesus, said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.

5 And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.

6 And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.

    7 And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;

8 And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse:

9 But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats.

10 And he said unto them, In what place soever ye enter into an house, there abide till ye depart from that place.

  • Jesus comforts the Church

    in Christianity

    BIBLEBOOKCLUB: OT:Job 20:1-22:30, NT: 2 Corinthians 1:11, Psalm: 40:11-17, Proverbs: 22:2-4

Today's NT scripture, Paul exhorts and encouraged the church to persevere during hardships and trials. He said Jesus Christ who is the source of every mercy will comfort and strengthen us in those difficult times. We can be assured the more we undergo suffering for Christ, the more strength He will give us to endure. Why? So when others are troubled, needing sympathy and encouragement, we can pass on to them this same help and comfort God has given us! Jesus said in John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. FRIENDS, JESUS IS WITH US! HE WILL NEVER LEAVE US OR FORSAKE US!

    in The Bible

Our enemies expects us to fail from reaching our promise, but it is God's Grace and Mercy that helps us to fight and walk in Victory. We cannot afford to let frustration and emotions hinder our focus and attention, but our focus must stay consistent in moving towards our Promise!

WOMAN to WOMAN - With Lady Marni Ali

    in Christianity

WOMAN TO WOMAN...Many times, we as women can be our worst source of negative criticism toward one another. Sisterhood is a powerful concept that we should all support in order to aid each other, our community, and our world. We as women, weave the social fabric of our respective communities and world, so we have much to share with each other that can be of great benefit. What you have mastered and overcome, can help another person to do the same, and vice versa. All that we do and achieve is not only for ourselves but the benefit of each other as well. God is no respect of person, so one person's blessing is not because of "who" they are, rather because of them having kept God's word, or simply due to his mercy, benevolence, and grace. As he has been gracious to us, we too must be loving and gracious to one another. So join us, as we sisters speak openly and candidly about our lives, on Church in th Raw, Monday, Aug 24, 2015, call in # - (646) 652-2912. If you have questions or comments to add during the show, just press #1 on your dial pad. ~Kingdom Blessings

Listen to Prayers against sickness and diseases.

    in Religion

Many are cursed with spirits of infirmity.  In Psalm 41:8

In bible times, horrific diseases were identified as a thing of Belial.. Belial represents a host of infirmity and sickness that operate under him.  Wherever there is immorality, there will be sickness and infirmities which result in death. These spirits are curses of witchcraft against true servants of God.  As believers we must study our selves to show ourselves approve unto God and others.  We must pray, interceed, supplicate with thanksgiving for one another. Tune in as Pastor Fran releases blessings, favor, mercy, grace and God's permissable will in your life.

Gospel of Matthew 5: 1 Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2 and he began to teach them.3  “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
