THE SOLUTION TO SIN IS TRUE REPENTANCE. As the journey continues through the book of Judges, Pastor Michael Crow and Minister Carnita Smith will point out the relapes in sin of the Israelites because of their disobedience which results in defeat. God raises up judges/deliverers Othniel, Ehud and Shamgar to deliver them out of the hands of their enemy. We serve a God of mercy, a God who delivers and a God that hears the cry of his children. Judges 3:9 "But when they cried out to the Lord, he raised up for them a deliverer..."
Losing a loved one is very painful and tough. Unless you've personally gone through it yourself, it's challenging to comfort the grieving. Offering biblical scriptures seem trite, and saying "Call me if you need me" seems cliche; some may rather take the silent approach and say nothing at all... less is more. On the other hand if you're the one who has lost someone you may find yourself asking... "Why's" and "What's"?
Why did this person have to die?
Why not me?
What's the point of life anyway?
What is God doing?
Is there really a God watching over us?
These are all tough questions and we believe the Word of God has the answers. But we have a question for you...
Can You Withstand The Waves?
A mysterious plant known as Black Mercy places Kara in a dreamlike state that has her imagining that she is back on Krypton, thanks to a plot by Non, who is using Earth's technology to launch Myriad, which he and Astra are planning to use to wipe out humanity. Alex, Hank, Winn, Maxwell, and James race against time to save Kara with Alex entering Kara's world to pull her out and bring Kara back to reality. When Kara comes back she seeks revenge on Non and stops him but Astra, who wanted Kara unharmed and upset with Non, is killed by Alex before Astra could kill Hank (who fought her off as the Martian Manhunter), only to have Hank tell Kara that he killed Astra instead of Alex, who starts to feel guilty over this and whether she should tell Kara the truth. Non vows revenge on Kara in the wake of Astra's death.

"Apostolic prayer brings God's order as well as His orders. Apostolic prayer brings the strategies of God to defeat the enemy. Apostolic prayer brings the world to The Lord Jesus Christ!" Prophetic Praise by Joshua Fowler...it is our desire to align ourselves, families, ministries & community with God's Order....
Hebrews 3:6 - 8a (NLT)
"But Christ, as the Son, is in charge of God’s entire house. And we are God’s house, if we keep our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ. 7That is why the Holy Spirit says, "Today when you hear his voice, 8don’t harden your hearts"
Hebrews 4:12 - 16 (NLT)
"For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. 13Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable."...Christ Is Our High Priest... 16So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help when we need it most."
Ephesians 2:1-7 (KJV)
1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
I went to Walmart looking to purchase digital reading aids for my grand daughter. I was amazed that Walmart had a different price in the hood than that of a more affluent neighborhood. The question came to mind, "Why would a store sell items intended to better the intellect for different prices based on neighborhood?" This my friend is the economics of social engineering and stratification. Tonights broadcast will include a clip that explains the hidden agenda of the kings of the earth. ENJOY!
Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

Kenjji grew up in Detroit’s Rosedale Park neighborhood, went to Catholic school for eight years, and later attended University of Detroit Mercy and Western Michigan University, where he studied art.
Kenjji dropped his surname because of its connection to slavery and its consequent “unpretty history.”
He was first inspired to create comics after reading Brotherman, one of the first independent comic books featuring a Black superhero, which was published in the late ’80s and early ’90s.
“I decided it was time to reinstate books like Brotherman, which I found so influential and appealing, and the first thing I had to do was create a character that was just as cool as Brotherman,” he explains.
“I wanted to do a character with cornrows — that was the look. Around the time I was working this out, D’Angelo [noted for his cornrows] came out with his album Voodoo, which gave me the inspiration to start researching Voodoo as a background for this character.”
Hence the birth of his protagonist, who was named after a “super-suave friend” by the name of Jovan who lived on Carrington Street.
Kenjji is a strickler for detail, and wanted his book to paint an authentic picture of Voodoo. He extensively researched the history of the misunderstood practice, devouring books and studying under a Voodoo priestess who runs an informational Web site about the practice and history of Voodoo.

OIN THE ISUPK EVERY WEDNESDAY NIGHT FOR THE LAW CLASS. WHAT THE BLACK COMMUNITY NEEDS MORE THAN ANYTHING IS RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS TO GOVERN OUR EVERYDAY LIVES AND THE WAY IN WHICH WE INTERACT WITH ONE ANOTHER. THE LAW CLASS IS WHERE YOU LEARN TO APPLY THESE BIBLICAL LAWS TO YOUR LIFE.
Ash Wednesday begins a 40 day journey called Lent. Lent is a time of prayer, fasting and almsgiving. It is a time of reflection, forgiveness, change, mercy - the list goes on and on. Perhaps this year, it can be a time to spend time in deep prayer and contemplation about what it means to live in community with one another. We hope you will join us with an open heart as we discuss a recent blog post on patheos.com by Kimberly Knight.
