Saturday June 21 2014 I had the privilege of flying both my US flag and the flag of US Army Captain Fulbright on board the SS Lane Victory. I also met with Mr. Gregory Williams Executive Director of the US Merchant Marine Veterans World War II.
It was that meeting that resulted in this show has we will talk about the ship, its history and now it's new life as a floating museum.
I have had the privilege of being on one their cruises to Catalina Island, and flying my flags on board the ship and now to satisfy another "bucket list" goal to do a live podcast.
Joining me will be Armando Sanchez who will co- hosting with me along with any crew members of the ship
Has always you are invited to join in
Built in 1945, here in Los Angeles, CA, the S.S. Lane Victory served with distinction during World War II, The Korean War, and the Vietnam War as well as in times of peace as part of the merchant fleet. After years of deterioration in mothballs, it took countless hours of restoration to put her back into her original condition by volunteers of the United States Merchant Marine Veterans of World War II. A nationally recognized historic landmark, the S.S. Lane Victory now serves as a living museum and memorial to the service and sacrifices of all Merchant Marine sailors and Navy Armed Guardsmen. Several times each summer she sails into the past on one of her "Victory At Sea" cruises where "old salts" can reminisce, about adventures past, and younger generations can catch a glimpse of bygone times.

What does a spitfire television judge, winner of the game show, “The Weakest Link”, and daughter of a Vietnam Veteran have in common? Well, everything. Why..because they're the same person.
This week on, “Creating Life’s New Normal,” I interview actress, attorney and game show winner, Tremecca D. Doss. We explore how she creates her new normal through excellence, education, and fun.
Tremecca can be seen on television serving as a legal analyst on TV One Network’s, “Fatal Attraction”, Discovery ID’s “Deadly Women”, and Oxygen Network’s “Snapped: Killer Couples.”
Tremecca is an avid sports fan and couples her passion for law by being a legal commentator on issues arising in the (NFL). She also worked as a production coordinator and reporter with the NFL/Tennessee Titans Radio Network during the Titans’ 1999-2000 Super Bowl season.
However, I think the most profound substance of this amazing woman is her respect for the men and women who serve the United States as part of the Armed Forces. It was her father, Larry Doss, a Vietnam Veteran who lost his ability to walk, who inspires her the most. Seeing his dogged determination to fight for disability rights rubbed off on Tremecca. It is this bond of military service that led our connection and eventually to this interview.
Tune in from 9am - 10am EST to listen to this amazing young lady.

War!, why do we do it? Why do we do it as a person and why we do it as a Nation. What effects has it had on us as a person and a nation. How has this changed our views on life and what we see everyday, ethics, values, and polotics. Has war changed your view on normal everyday jobs? How are your civilian leaders/managers holding up? How are your views with current rights and privileges holding up? Can you go to the bathroom with your child and feel safe? Can you display your Marine Corps flag hang high at your house without an issue in your community. Can your kids have a Santa party at school and it be OK?
