Hosted By: Harold Muhammad
Harold, an eclectic and voracious reader, began his venture in the world of the written word as a child of 2 years. Scraps of paper, candy wrappers, dictionary's right through the entire encyclopedia Britannica. Yet Harold was driven to books of the sciences. Physics, Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, he met them all with great wonder and fascination. He delved into each discipline as if his very life depended upon understanding its depth.
It was not until the words of The Hon. Elijah Muhammad that the essence and understanding of the sciences began to have true purpose and meaning. He said, "all there is to know is written in a book, read".
Harold began his collegiate pursuit at Hampton Institute; he then forayed to Fairleigh Dickenson University. At FDU the practice of the Social Sciences, public activism, and public speaking became a trusted part of mental fabric.
Harold is the husband to Celestine Muhammad, and the father of 10 extraordinary children, and 8 grandchildren. Harold has the benefit of having the most exceptional and wondrous teachers to whom he owes all that he has learned, will learn and knows to this very day, The Most Hon. Elijah Muhammad, the Hon. Min. Louis Farrakhan, his Father Alfred Eatman, and his Grandfather the Late Captain, Harold D. Hook.

It all started with a beautiful boob. Mine. A picture...random of me in a bikini last summer let to a flood of appreciation from boob admirers across our great land...and maybe a few internationally too. As I was receiving all this glorious attention I decided to reach out to the men on the list of "likers" and "commenters" to get their perspective on engaging men in conversations about higher sexuality. If sex is going to be better both women AND men must engage.
Dane Henry was my first of many calls and boy was it a powerhouse period of co-creation. So much terrific mental and spiritual alignment around all things intimate. And then he read me a poem from his new book and I knew he had to be a guest on Oh-gasmic Living Radio! Woohoo!
I hope he'll read something for us, talk about his poetry project and get in there! Dane Henry!

Author Debbie McGowan
She is an author and publisher based in a semi-rural corner of Lancashire, England. She writes character-driven, realist fiction, celebrating life, love and relationships. A working class girl, she ‘ran away’ to London at 17, was homeless, unemployed and then homeless again, interspersed with animal rights activism (all legal, honest ;)) and volunteer work as a mental health advocate. At 25, she went back to college to study social science— tough with two toddlers, but they had a ‘stay at home’ dad, so it worked itself out. These days, the toddlers are young women (much to their chagrin), and Debbie teaches undergraduate students, writes novels and runs an independent publishing company, occasionally grabbing an hour of sleep where she can!

BOB DARBY, ADVOCATE FOR THE HOMELESS MENTALLY ILL - Thursdays, 3pmEST ~ Darby has been an advocate for the homeless mentally ill for more than twenty years. He has a B.A. in psychology from Emory University. Please call to speak on air at (347) 857-3293 for all broadcasts. Darby studied in psychology and theology in graduate school. He is a former employee of Georgia Regional Hospital, Boston State Hospital, and New Hampshire's Hanover-Darthmouth Hospital. In 1994, he co-founded Atlanta Food Not Bombs. Darby explains that people with serious mental illness are deliberately rendered homeless in the United States of America and deprived of psychiatric and medical health care services. This is unacceptable. Voters should petition elected officials to improve treatment and subsistence opportunities for mentally ill people and those with substance abuse issues. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never has, and it never will." Frederick Douglass
Confinement in a prison cell creates a whole set of memories that a person may want to forget. What is it like to return home after a long period of being controlled and restricted? What psychological damage to ones self esteem needs to be repaired and how can that be done? What unseen emotional scars need healing, and can a person's family really understand what he or she went through? How does one offer support to a family member or friend returning from prison
This month we are diving into the mind, body, spirit triangle.
All 3 are connected and interdependent upon each other. If there is disharmony in one part it can lead to dis-ease in another part. Our thought life, our mental, or mindset is constantly under attack. Our physical bodies often display what is going on in our minds. And all of these things wears on your spirit. So this month we are focused on making improvements in how we think and what we think. We will explore detoxing, nutrition, and fitness. We will even be completing a popular 30 day fitness challenge. Please go to BAKI Facebook Page to join us. For our Spirit we will be honest with ourselves, start or deepen mediations practices, and learn to listen to our bodies. Couch Conversations is an outreach of Blessed And Know It Ministries and is hosted by our Mindset Demolition Specialist and Motivational Speaker Jasheena Shelton a.k.a. "REVJ!!"
