Mankind have generally had the opinion that money would bring happiness, but this is a deception. The Prophet Joseph Smith gave the key to happiness when he said:
Happiness is the object and design of our existence; and will be the end thereof, if we pursue the path that leads to it; and this path is virtue, uprightness, faithfulness, holiness, and keeping all the commandments of God. But we cannot keep all the commandments without first knowing them, and we cannot expect to know all, or more than we now know unless we comply with or keep those we have already received. * * *
If we seek first the kingdom of God, all good things will be added.***
But in obedience there is joy and peace unspotted, unalloyed; and as God has designed our happiness–and the happiness of all His creatures, he never has–He never will institute an ordinance or give a commandment to His people that is not calculated in its nature to promote that happiness which He has designed, and which will not end in the greatest amount of good and glory to those who become the recipients of his law and ordinances. This show will focus on people who have body image issues. It's a serious thing. This is not just about people who don't like something about their appearance because almost everyone fits into that category. This about when people are so disgusted with the way that they look that they find it hard to enjoy life. They think that they are ugly and they really believe that everyone else believes that they are ugly too.
It stops some people from socializing and having a good time. People who are this way constantly compare themselves to other people and never think that they measure up, no matter what the other person looks like.
Body image issues can ruin the ability to get into or enjoy romantic relationships because they think that no one likes the way that they look, or appreciates them. Enjoying sex can be almost impossible for people who suffer from this condition.
On the surface, it may look like these folks are just self absorbed or narcissistic, but it goes much deeper than that. These folks really do not like themselves and can't get away from it.
Sound like anyone that you know? If so, maybe y'all can listen to this show together and see if we can give some insight and some help.

We have all survived something in life. Join us as Veronica Coney shares her story of survival.
I’m a devoted mother of 4 children and a license practical nurse of nearly 10 years and counting. My goal of becoming a Registered Nurse was interrupted when I became a patient myself. At the age of 31, was a stroke survivor. A week after giving birth to my beautiful baby daughter, I suffered the worst headache of my life. Why me? I didn’t have any significant health issues. No diabetes, no high blood pressure, nothing out of the ordinary. One thing nagged at me — I was in a toxic relationship and under a tremendous amount of stress. The day I got the headache, I had been very angry about a particular incident. After the stroke, I found myself searching for answers. Having suffered more than my fair share of sadness and grief over the years, I began to see how those feelings bubbled up and exploded when I got angry. I want to use those experiences to inspire you to always be conscious of what you’re thinking about. these last years, I have hosted an blog talk radio show for women uniting for change, became involved in community activism, and have become a passinate advocate for people with mental illness. Also a published author, and a big dreamer of we can do anything we put our mind to.
