    Kat's Got Kellie Fitzgerald's Tongue

    in Culture

This weekly live show coming to you through The Magic Happens Radio Stream is called, 'Kat Got Your Tongue.' Kathleen Anne McCarthy (https://www.facebook.com/kathleen.a.mccarthy), 'Kat for short' will be interviewing different contributing writers to The Magic Happens Magazine (www.themagichappens.com) to find out what makes them tick and what makes them think. Coming at you every Saturday at 11:30 am eastern time.

Kellie Fitzgerald has arrived at this particular point in her life by taking the scenic route, often filled with pratfalls and new beginnings.  After a life spent experiencing trials by fire while simultaneously navigating choppy waters, she is passionate about helping others navigate their own paths and become the very best version of themselves they can be.  Having been told early in adulthood that as an employee she would make an excellent entrepreneur, Kellie, has started, grown and/or run several small businesses.  Currently, she is a real estate broker and life coach in southeastern Arizona and, as usual, lives with a rather large menagerie of animals and way more gardens and other projects than any truly sane person would attempt to handle.

While you are listening to the show, it would be wonderful if you would honor us by stopping by The Magic Happens facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/themagichappensnow) and giving us a like. Please enjoy the show!

The Menagerie of the Soul I

    in Spirituality

What does the word menagerie mean? One of the definition is: a varied mixture. How does my soul fit into this definition? The soul is a "mixture" of our intution, conscience, communion along with our intellect which creates our mental feelings, forging our decisions. Have you ever THOUGHT about how much you THINK? Thinking is a natural process that goes on even when we are not even aware that we are doing it. The electrical activity that transpires within the brain is beyond human comprehension. The government has authorized the pharmaceutical industry to pump these poisons into people knowing the side affects are detrimental not only to them but everyone around them. Statistics indicated 35 different descriptions of mental illness with 165 different types of anti-depressants. Recently on Television they reintroduced ECT [Electroconvulsive Therapy]. What's going on? Why now? Where can the world and the church folk get help?  Are people really loosing their minds? OR is it they are simply  loosing control of their thoughts? Are you tired of making wrong decisions? Do you battle everyday with thoughts. Are you worried about everything or anything? Constantly trying to figure out what should you do, when, where  and why.  When you lay down at the end of a busy day, body fatigued  desperately longing for a little quiet time. You only want to close your eyes and get some long overdue sleep only to find yourself staring at the cieling or tossing and turning the whole night through. As the night slips away into day your mind becomes a freeway of thoughts.
These are the questions that demand answers. Every Human Being is CONSTANTLY LOCKED in a battle in their minds. It doesn't matter if you are religious or non-religious. There is no fast that you can subject your body to, no business or religious title or position that can conquer and tame it. It matters not who you are or what you know.

Dr. Sprinkle knew he had to find a way to bring rest, refreshing sleep and hope to these and hundreds of others just like them. In addition to his revolutionary treatments procedures, he is in demand as a speaker at various events and is a consultant to various members of the dental and medical communities. He lives on an organic farm with his wife Sharna, their two daughters and a menagerie of animals.

Sex, dating, and romance today with Dr. Teddy Love starring Ms. Danika Ridely

    in Relationships

This weeks guess: The web series The Ethical Slut

Dotty and Jackie want to spice up their marriages. But are they cut out for open relationships? Reality is funnier than fantasy in this dark comedy.

Completely produced in Madison, WI, this dark comedy explores open relationships (or polyamory) in a menagerie of relationships that center around two friends, Dotty and Jackie. Dotty is an east-side marriage counselor who desires answers to the mundacity of monogamy. Jackie, a west-side realtor, needs her own escape from an apparently loveless marriage. Will they realize their dream of being Ethical Sluts?

Creator and Director Ben Fritz met with the authors of the popular book, The Ethical Slut, and was given rights to create a web-series based on principles and themes from the book.

Teddy Love is host of the Teddy Love Show, a call-in blog talk radio program which features his short monologues on dating, relationships, sex, and marriage as well as his responses to callers' requests for personal advice. Teddy Love’s answers have been variously characterized as direct, wise, to-the-point, and with love and humor. School of Dating said that his show, "preaches, teaches, and explains, the whole area of sex and relationships.” Taylor previously utilized his platform as a stand-up comedian with National Security of the World (NSW) along with the radio show to help teach his messages. Lately he’s concentrated his efforts as a dating and relationship coach and on authoring a book about dating, sex, and love.

Danika  Ridely has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Media and Marketing. She has been a licensed massage therapist for ten years, and is working on becoming a certified relationship coach. She has hosted various shows, events, and been in a number of music videos.

    Ricky March, Chicago's Funny Man

    in Comedy

Ricky March or Aric, to the people whom he owes money to, has always been a wise guy (not Soprano style either). When kids watched cartoons, Rick favored Burns and Allen reruns. When the Beatles were taking over America, Rick spun Bill Cosby and Allen Sherman records. A disk jockey in Syracuse, he first introduced the public to his menagerie of accents. He recorded voice over commercials for bug spray and wrote and produced a radio show called The World According to Myron Putchnick. A couple of decades and a lot of laughs later, he’s back on stage. From Zanies to The Improv to colleges and clubs aroung the country, Rick slings his sarcastic barbs and observations on the inane to make fun of everything stupid and everyone too serious about life.

    Hydra Radio-Frank Indiviglio Zoologist/Herpetologist

    in Hobbies

    Frank's Bio;

Being born with a deep interest in animals might seem unfortunate for a native Bronxite , but my family encouraged my interest and the menagerie that sprung from it. Jobs with pet stores and importers had me caring for a fantastic assortment of reptiles and amphibians. After a detour as a lawyer, I was hired as a Bronx Zoo animal keeper and was soon caring for gharials, goliath frogs, king cobras and everything in-between. Research has taken me in pursuit of anacondas, Orinoco crocodiles and other animals in locales ranging from Venezuela’s llanos to Tortuguero’s beaches. Now, after 20+ years with the Bronx Zoo, I am a consultant for several zoos and museums. I have spent time in Japan, and often exchange ideas with zoologists there. I have written books on salamanders, geckos and other “herps”, discussed reptile-keeping on television and presented papers at conferences. A Master’s Degree in biology has led to teaching opportunities. My work puts me in contact with thousands of hobbyists keeping an array of pets.
