Author Robert Doubek wrote Creating the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, detailing the contention and debate behind the creation of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Since its dedication in 1982, the memorial has been one of the most visited monuments, honoring the fallen as a cultural icon. However, there was also a great deal of controversy at the time of its inception, with some dismissing it as "a nihilistic slab of stone." The designer, Maya Lin, was also criticized for her ethnicity, spurring a battle in Congress. Authors Robert Doubek and Susan Clotfelter Jimison of the, book DEAR MARK, a tribute to her hero brother who died in Vietnam and a frequent honored guest at the Vietnam Memorial, discuss the Wall and what is means to veterans and Americans in this exclusive LIVE interivew . SEC. OF STATE John "Vietnam" Kerry has been busy this week, trying to convince members of the Senate Foreign Relations and Armed Services committees as well as House Foreign Affairs members why Obama's plan to "halt" Iran's nuclear weapons is a "good deal."
And both leaders in the House and Senate are getting hammered by conservatives for their flaccid responses to issues that matter. As reported by David Limbaugh "While President Obama accelerates his increasingly radical agenda, the GOP, despite its congressional majority, can barely muster an objection, let alone block his momentum."
Tonight - the backstories to those and more with Capitol Hill insider Elizabeth Letchworth Chryst, the first woman to have been elected US Secretary to the Senate.
Hosted by Debbie Coffey...VP Wild Horse Freedom Federation
Our guests tonight will be MARJORIE FARABEE, Dir. of Wild Burro Affairs for Wild Horse Freedom Federation, the Equine Mgr. of Todd Mission Ranch (home of TMR Rescue) and founder of Wild Burro Protection League. 'In the GAP', is a weekly hour of powerful global prayer aimed at immersing ourselves in the Spirit and letting God direct our attention to current areas of practical need. Together, we can bridge 'gaps' and build 'hedges' here on earth from the heavenly dimension. Join us in an effort to do more than talk about problems or pretend they don't exist! Jesus is still the answer to the pressing conditions and critical world affairs we all face - so lets 'BE' His Body!
Specific Episode: Put a Sock in It!
This episode returns to the foundation of the entire program - Ezekiel's call for believers to get back into society's GAPs. This, of course, is most particularly directed at the need for spiritual intervention instigated by the Church. It is from there the righteousness of God either flows or is stifled. If believers do nothing, the holes in the world's walls will only get bigger BUT if we can decide to fill them in almost nothing is irreversible. This requires more WATCHMEN and less Spokesmen - which will you be?

Oren M. Levin-Waldman, Ph.D., Professor, Graduate School for Public Affairs and Administration at The Metropolitan College of New York, has just written "Minimum Wage Supporters Need to Learn How to Socialize Conflict" which dissects the famous work by political scientist E.E. Schattsschneider work in "The Semisovereign People," which describes two sides to a conflict, those involved, the actors, and those sitting on the sidelines, the spectators. We'll learn the role each plays in the dynamic of life, politics, and, yes, the minimum wage. Enjoy an hour that reveals much in the palatable approach expressed by the professor who opens the hour this Wednesday, July 29, 2015 @ 10am
