If you would like to pay tribute to a member of your family or a friend that served in the military and is now deceased, you are welcome to call
in to the show and express your feelings, your memories and your respect. This will not be a talk show, In fact there will be little actually
heard until someone calls in to make a tribute. Let's remember what Memorial Day is about. Honoring our war heroes who have made the ulitimate sacrifice and all other veterans that have defended our constitution.
Memorial Day is observed every year on the final Monday of May to honor the men and women of armed foreces who had fallen in the line of duty . People visit cemeteries and memorials to honor those who have died in the military service. The United States flag is solemnly lowered to half flag staff position where it remains till noon.
Memorial Day, formerly known as Decoration day, was initially intended to honor the fallen union and confederate soldiers in the Americal Civil War. It was later extended to honor and remember all the military personnel who had fallen in the line of duty.

As America celebrates Memorial Day, we pay tribute to those who have given their lives in our nation's wars. Memorial Day this year is especially important as we are reminded almost daily of the great sacrifices that the men and women of the Armed Services make to defend our way of lie

My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.

America is hope. It is compassion. It is excellence. It is valor. Paul Tsongas
Memorial Day brings a pulse where many are in the grief process. There is no proper way to grieve a love one. The best one can hope for is healing and positive memories will outweigh those associated with suffering. In fact, holidays do not stop the loss of life. Many will lose theirs today in a car accident. This show will let the families of people lost while serving their country know our deep appreciation of what they have given to us and how to continue to live with hope after loss.
This is Beyond the Airwaves: The Infinity Project, where we go beyond the mainstream media and tackle issues that don't seem so important to the major networks.

Memorial Day is a time to honor those brave Heroes who did not make it home. A common theme on the show is that of the "Blank Check" signed by those who take the oath to defend the constitution and the American way of life. Sometimes the price ultimately paid for our freedoms is the life of someone who put on that uniform. The Memorial Day Special which airs a day after the holiday is set to honor these heroes. We encourage people to call in with poetry to read, stories to tell; and messages to spread. Let's make this the biggest, best episode of Freedom's hands yet!
***There will also be a special announcement that will explain the change from Monday Nights to Tuesday Nights***
We had all had a hell of Memorial Day weekend, especially those living near cities which saw an eruption in violence, particularly Baltimore, which has experienced record violence since protestors insisted police are all bad guys.
